My music project The Weak in Review is confirmed booked for a live show in Portland Oregon, Feb 3rd at the Ford Gallery. It will be my first time playing out with modular. I’m excited and nervous! If anyone lives down that way you should drop by!

Been doing a lot with music boxes of all kinds lately but thought this one was neat since i have the output going to the doepfer sequential switch so each output is going through different effects and is triggered by a clock from Pam's New Workout. One of the paths goes through CT5 and Supermoon, another through Clouds, another through Folktek Conduit, and one through a Vocu VTE-1600 tape delay.

This is really cool. I really like what you do with music boxes

I mean it's probably a little bit because of Baseck, but yeah that sounds damn good. I'm pretty interested in the Manis for sure

Well, I have a 7U Intellijel case and I almost wish there was another 1U row in there as there are a number of really useful 1U modules available already...
If you just see it as a way to have attenuverters/reverb/inputs/outputs without using 3U modules, it's pretty much worth it.

Easy to overlook module alert : the Manhattan Analog CP3 (called DTM now) is an awesome little mixer. It's basically an old Moog transistor-based 3 channels mixer with global volume and it overdrives super nicely in the last 20-25% or so of the pot. And when you have two hot enough signals in there you can easily get some ducking going on (by feeding gates in one channel for example), which sounds super good most of the time.
TLDR : the Manhattan Analog CP3/DTM can be a relatively clean mixer when needed but really excels as a slight overdrive/ducking machine.

Yeah I have the 104HP 7U Performance Case on order and am ready for the damn thing to come in already
Even if it is just confined to Intellijel modules (though I've heard of some people finding ways to do otherwise), they have plenty of super useful modules to fill up that space (and more), as Osc said. Mults, midi control, line in/out etc. Also I could easily find myself spending a chunk of change on a nice 3U reverb module, but the fact that Intellijel makes a perfectly nice little one for 70 bucks?
Famous last words, but I'd really like to not go beyond that case size. The tile row definitely helps that

So, long story short, I've basically been unable to use my skiff since June -- I've literally only been able to use the Brainseed and the 0-Coast until today.
That is over now. Let the already dated sonic textures resume!
(headphones/low end replication recommended).
