For two days, I was on top of an ebay auction at $22.21 with my max bid at $30. Four hours before it ends, some bastard bids $30.01. Not I have to up it to $35 and watch it like a hawk for the next couple hours.

Increase your max bid to something like $35.26 or $35.51. When people don't what to go much higher they'll bid in small increments - by 25 cents or 50 cents. Making something .26 or .51 instead of .00 or .25 means if they're doing that they'll have to bid twice to get over you instead of just once. If they try to bid you out at the last minute they might not end up getting it at all because of that.

Being white is awesome. If you aren't white, you are seriously missing out on the awesomeness!

I definitely know there are a whole lot of benefits to white privilege.

Doesn't mean that we shouldn't be aware of the system that's been in place, or attempt to change it.

Oh, as far as Spite, Rage, and other things are concerned, there was a Phish show last night one town over. Not a problem, on the face of it, but since my room was full of paint I slept on the couch. Or, tried to sleep, as I listened to a post-show party next door rage until 4.

Which was cool, but I had to be up at 8 today.

Every day takes longer than the one before it. The same goes for weeks, months, and years. Time goes by so slowly I feel like I must be 80 by now.

Isn't time supposed to seem like it's going by faster as you age?

When I was in high school I'd always think as many as three days had gone by each day. Now, by the end of a day I sometimes think that it's the end of the day a week later. I have to remind myself it's not.
