The Prologue makes me think of the girlfriend/wife juxtapostion. You like her, but you don't love her. (sounds are quite likable, but you never hear anything that makes you think,"I can't live without this.") You start to question if she's too much of a drain on your finances and your personal time. You start speculating about the future. (are you really going to work extra shifts to pay her way through grad school?) If your best friend from high school accidentally killed a hooker on a stag weekend, could you tell her about it? Would she help you move the body? If you impregnated her, would you feel tremendous pride and excitement, or would you be filled with feelings of dread and hopelessness. You play out all these scenarios in your mind over several weeks, until her shortcomings are all you can think about. Eventually you accept that she's not the one, and you build your life with someone else----someone who has two built-in sequencers, 4 LFOs, greater modulation capabilities, and a more-desirable keybed.

Hopefully this means (used) prices on the Ct5 will finally drop.

I think you mean 80tape In Limbo*, as it sounds exactly like it and seem to overlap in functionality (step/arp/normal analog delay w/modulation)

Oh wait...those are only $220.

Enormous moonface made me snort laugh. Completely true point though. Two In Limbo's for one Thermae with money left over for new strings seems like an obvious choice.

The Thermae looks sweet, but $499 is definitely a pretty steep price

I've been rocking an In Limbo II for super duper long now. It's my mainstay delay forever. I just want the opportunity to buy a Ct5 that isn't over the price for it new. It's basically the klon of pitch-shifting delays.

Wow! 499 seems excessive.

Its a Tonal Recall with slightly different stuff so that kinda makes sense.

I guess so but I also felt like the total recall was a lot.

Totally agree. I believe these are the most expensive analog delays on the market currently. They sound cool but I'd rather have a bigger box that Im not going to kick off my board or turn off every time I try to tap in a tempo.
