I want to play reach but I'm in no rush.

I start Metroid other M later today after some guitar stuff :joy:

I heard if you beat the game in under 3 hours with 100% items found you unlock the following:

You know i thought the same thing....i was never a halo fan and then i bought reach...honestly it has fixed some issues but i still dislike the game. Do i play it? Yes...its something to have when everyone starts whining about call of duty but i still just dont care about the game as a whole. Id say save your money for blackops which looks like it will have waaaaay more customization options.

Way of the Samurai, Earth Defense Force 2017, God Hand if you can find it cheap. Final Fantasy X and X-2 can be had for $2 a piece...though X-2 is debatable.

Anyway I've been playing a lot of Team Fortress 2 lately. I used to be put off by its fast-paced arcadey gameplay, preferring games like, say, Red Orchestra. But I haven't found a game that can keep my attention for more than a couple days in a looooong time now. So I no longer have a problem with its pace. Demoman's axe all day!

Been playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent (aka Dead Baby Fountain Game: Lamp Almost Empty) the past couple night, lights off, with 3 other people in Vent playing at the same time. Kind of like horrible scary multiplayer!

edit: THAT PLACE WAS THE ONLY SPOT IN THE GAME WHERE I COULD LET MY GUARD DOWN AND YOU TOOK IT FROM ME FUCK YOU AMNESIA

THERE WAS EVEN CALM MUSIC

So... I realised that I haven't played my PS3 in almost a year really so I need some new game suggestions from some of you guys!

Fallout New Vegas? I like 1&2 of course... 3 was decent enough, anyone tried this installment? More of the same of 3? Have they Brought Back Groin Shots? And there better be Dog Meat!

I likes me Survival Horror Resi 1-Ver X, Silent Hill 1&2, Parasite Eve II... anything modern I can try? I heard bad reviews about Silent Hill homecoming but think I might get it anyway... other ideas? I did deadspace, kinda fun, i'd give the second a go when it comes out but want something that has that old edge, i'd even go back and buy a PS1 or 2 game if it was good. One Caveat, I like to kill my monsters, not take pictures of them or shine lights at them or just disable & pester them like in some survival horrors.

Final Fantasy 7 & 8 anything that measures up these days? Everything past 9 has not looked like my kinda thing... not holding out hope for this.

The Darkness, thought that was awesome, anything simmilar?

Possible Ideas to try if anyone can give me some opinions:
Clock Tower Series
Parasite Eve 1 (No idea how i'll get this here in the U.K... it was never released in PAL format)
Siren Games?

Pros:
Zombies
Dead Zombies
Cons:
No Guns & Living Zombies

Now... another thing, I just found my old NES & SNES, got my own place and some beers... good games to get and play for the SNES, I have most of the usual NES Games but any suggestions that might suprise me? The SNES only ever had one game so anything is a good suggestion.

Never tried the Castlevanias, Good?

And Finally... I have a Gamecube with just the Resi Remake, what else ever came out for that, that was good?

How awesome would it be if Terry Cavanagh made this game? I would play it FOREVER.

Fable 3 seems like a nice new game. Might get that nearer to Christmas or something. My Xbox hasn't crashed in a few months now but I'm still afraid of playing it or buying games for it.

Also hate myself for having dug into the new DMC only to find out it won't be released for another bazzilion years and it will be a reboot :grumpy:

Fired up Rock Band 3 last night. Pro Keys are the new plastic guitar. So fun, but for someone with like no keyboard form or experience, I'm getting whipped on Easy.

Fun ILF-related factoids: The Electro-Harmonix tee-shirt is back. :thumb:

There's also a Z.Vex tee.

If I get some qt in with the art-maker, I might try to make a Dwarfcraft tee... :omg:

UUGGGGGHHHH I can feel it.

The Wii is calling me again. If I were to listen to my urges, this would be my third Wii that I've purchased. I got rid of the other two after shitty slumps in my life. So now what when things are GREAT? Why not?

1. Virtual Console
2. Loved Metroid Prime, never played 2 or 3, and now they come in one package, all with motion control
3. Backward compatibility (I love "Zelda: Wind Waker", and replay that every few years)
4. Netflix
5. Metroid: Other M
6. New controller with Wii Motion Plus built in
7. Zelda: Skyward Sword
8. Super Mario Galaxy 2
9. Never played Zach & Wiki, gotta do that

etc. etc. etc.

I don't know. I've got money, that's no object, really. Hmm. The black and red ones don't entice me. I'd still go for white.

:picard:

Blarf.

I know... it's complete crap... meld the combat system of 7&8 and bring back those old style maps and they've got it sorted... well apart from the storyline and the marketing at younger audiences now (well that's what it feels like they're doing anyway... everything feels to cutesy and not in a good way).
