Woah, THE Paul Barker. I had no idea of his involvement with Malekko.

Paul lived/lives outside of Austin, Malekko lived outside Austin so they got together and made the Assmaster... Ministry used to have a compound in Marble Falls, google it...

Some of the Malekko stuff. Sounds start at about 2:50 in.

Lol when he kicked the bit crusher on my immediate reaction was "It sounds broken, I FUCKING NEED THAT!"
BALLZ! These two are lovely!

I could build a whole board from new pedals off NAMM.

It seems like maybe one could also use the Combover as a weird phaser if set right, no?

i was expecting to be floored by those malekkos but that video didn't really do anything for me, oh well.

only thing i'm still really pumped about is the Zero Point, as far as guitar gear goes at least. feels like synth/modular is really taking over which is cool.

So like I said, I listened to that Bitcrusher for like 20 minutes and it sounded amazing. I think part of the issue in that demo is homie is changing the Combover too much. You can't really get a good idea of what it actually sounds like. They used it when I was listening but more as a eq so all the knobs were at the top for the most part. It was really good. I'm definitely going to get one. FO SHO
