Thanks man! I am shooting to hit a few goals this year. 500 lb dead lift, 400 lb squat, and 300 lb clean. Just working my way up those ladders

500lbs, that's pretty intense. That's a long, long way off for me.

I was helping my friend pick up an old cooker the other day, a traditional range that can eat your home via a back boiler by keeping it lit all day. It was heavy as fuck. If I were deadlifting I reckon it would have been a lot more manageable. Practical strength, yo! Everything is sore.

Nick, how long has it been now for you since you started working out?

Well I started CrossFit on Aug 6th. I started olympic lifting around Oct 20th. I started doing more strength related stuff around mid December

Yea I'm in some heavy gains right now. I'm actually eating way more recently and lifting heavier.

I made a conscious effort to eat more when I started Stronglifts at the beginning of November and have noticed significant change in my quads, lats and delts. You gotta fuel the machine.

Dropped a fucking barbell on my neck today during the overhead press to my back for a bear complex. Luckily only 75# and only a small bruise and some pain.

Man I am a damn slow gainer!!! I guess a back injury and not doing anything physical for almost 8 years ends up taking a toll on ya. I did just do 265lbs on the deadlift yesterday tho!! Thanks to Vid, I have cleaned up my technique.

I am still trying to figure out why I am hitting strength plateaus pretty often (cant seem to squat past 185lbs). I dont know if I need to eat more (i dont think so) but I do know that I need to sleep more. Ive set easy goals for this year on some lifts. 3 Plate DeadLift, 2 Plate Squat, 185 Bench, 185 Row and a 1 plate OHP.

i fucking love this. how is this possible, how can people not do this. i get to eat anything and i get to become strong, and then i limit myself to eating ALMOST anything and i become good looking. this is magic, is what it is.

I always get the "you should eat a bit more, youre getting too skinny" from family members...........im like BITCH PLEASE I EAT WHAT I WANT AND THEN LIFT SHIT AND PUT IT BACK DOWN. Here in Feb i'll take a 2 year pic so you guys can see the difference that eating smarter and lifting since May of 2013 will do.

Keep plugging Luis, its a long term thing.

frozen chicken breasts is a huge scam, you buy a couple of 2 lb bags and end up eating the whole 2 lbs PER MEAL because of how the stupid chicken shrinks when you fry it.

leftover sticky chinese food rice, couldnt be any better. 1.25 lb steak before cooking. Beef!!!!!!!!!
