Yeah mine seems fine the way it is. I didn't receive this e-mail, and FYI my unit number is 91.
Perhaps you're correct in saying the later batch is already tweaked. Let us know when you get an answer from Fairfield if he mentions what numbered units are tweaked.

Unrelated but I asked on FB why he took his Youtube down. He seemed surprised by it and blamed google-youtube sync for deleting it. So hopefully it will all be back up soon.

Maude 006 arrived from Schnikes yesterday. Only had an hour or so to play but I'm pretty sure we have a winner here. My current favorite thing is how, with the mix high enough and modulation on, ringing chords get this wibblywobblyboardsofcanada thing going on. And that oscillation... Its a perfect foil to my other board delays.

Yay!!! I love mine it's a keeper!
Leaves Turn, Do you plans to do the mode? Me I don't think so... I love it the way it is.

Probably not. I like having the longer delay time, and the gate shouldn't bother me because I'm always boosting my signal in some way.

Ok, maybe I'm a tard or I'm doing something weird. I tried the loop and it's awesome. Ring mod and Rainbow Machine do cool stuff in there. But I freaked out the next day because I unplugged the Y cable from the cv jack and tried to play and was getting no delay signal at all. Thought for sure I had fried it somehow. Plugged the cable back in and all was fine. When I flipped he dipswitches back to cv control it works normal, but I guess I just figured that even in loop mode it'd work normal without anything plugged into the jack?
Whatever, still awesome. Just scared the crap out of me.

It's probably because the delay is getting fed into nothing and there's no connection if there is nothing is attached
ie input->fx loop send -> rainbow machine -> fx loop return -> output
But the signal is stopping if the rainbow machine isn't there?
I don't know fure but that seems right? I do t have the pedal or know anything about circuits haha

I am having this same issue too. If I have it set to the effects loop jumpers, I HAVE TO have another pedal in the loop to make the repeats on the Maude work. Granted, the pedal in the loop can be turned off, but this is silly nonetheless. So now, I always have to have a cable and pedal plugged into loop just to make Maude work as normal. Else, I gotta unscrew the enclosure and set the jumpers back to the normal expression pedal mode. Why would someone design it this way? None of my other pedals that have effects loops work like that.

Yeah, we haven't been paying attention.
I don't have any money for a Barbershop right now anyway.

That's interesting considering you can't even get them off the Fairfield site yet. You'd think he'd have updated the info on his own page first.
Noise Supply has them listed as Sold Out so I'm wondering if they're not actually in stock anywhere but the sites are getting ready for them.
