Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I will. Spent most of yesterday watching gear vids, and found that the only true contender to the sounds I want was the LAL Cyber Psychic. And that's almost $200 more than the faye sing... Now I'll play the waiting game. Hopefully it arrives at the same time as the No Memory, creating a massive disturbance in the force, effectively making me a timelord.

More clips for shits and giggles. These feature the Feedback knob completely cranked to get it to self oscillate. Should be a playlist of three clips. Guitar is the Firebird, amp is the Ceriatone 5E7.
First clip is both pickups and the Faye Sing. Feedback and Mix knobs are on full. Eight stages of modulation, fast speed (although the rate is set pretty low).
Second clip is the bridge pickup and the Faye Sing. Feedback and Mix knobs are on full. Six stages of modulation, slow speed.
Third clip is the bridge pup going into a Jerms TAR (Rat). Feedback is on full but Mix is wound back to 12 o'clock. Six stages of modulation, slow speed.

This thing is just too much fun to play. One last (promise!) demo to show what increasing the rate does with the Feedback knob maxed out. Expression pedal is controlling the rate here. Six stages of modulation, fast speed.
Guitar is a Jazzmaster, neck pup, into Vox AC4TV amp. Sarno Earth Drive is running for a little warmth. First run through it's the Earth Drive and the phaser. Second run (about 1.30 in) I turn on the EAR AD4096 delay in "Infinity Mode" to give that extra touch of wobble warble woosh-woosh…

Just got this! Only got an hour to play with it, but man is it cool. Love the sounds. So airy and spacey. Pretty easy to understand as well, but lots of tweaking opportunities. I think I finally found my modulation

^ That's a horrible story, univalve. Fingers crossed for you, man!
^^ Eivind - don't forget to play around with the fixed phase sounds. I'm using those WAY more than I probably should. Just love what it does to the tone.

Funny you should mention it, spent a good hour playing with those earlier today! Love those sorta metallic tones you can get. Used to do this with the EHX Neo Mistress, until I realized it was all I ever used it for. It sounds more "alive" from the Faye, though. And man, those warbly, wet vibrato tones. Always wanted to nail Gilmours lead tone on "Any colour you like", now I finally can!
EDIT: Oh, univalve, that sucks! Crossing every finger I've got.

So, I ran into some issues today. Thought I'd ask you guys as well. Instead of writing the whole thing again, I'm just gonna copypaste the mail I just sent to Infanem:
Hi,
Got my Compact Faye Sing B earlier this week, and am thouroughly enjoying it. Today however, there was some issues. I've placed it right after my Catalinbread Echorec (which has a buffer), and I got loads of modulating hum and noise when the Faye Sing was off. When I turned it on everything was normal. I tried different cables and stuff, but nothing changed. I'm running the Faye Sing from a Voodoo Lab PP2+ btw, from output 6 which should give the pedal a solid 250 ma.
Anyway, I decided to place the Faye Sing before the Echorec. Now, the hum did stop, but when the pedal was off I got overdrive. I run into a clean amp with loads of headroom, so found it kinda weird. When I turned the Faye Sing on, the tone was clean again.
So, does the Faye Sing hate my other pedals? My set-up today was ss/bs Fuck Overdrive -> LAL Super Oscillo Fuzz -> MASF Raptio -> Catalinbread Echorec -> Faye Sing -> Mr. Black Supermoon Chrome reverb -> Dr. Scientist Sunny Day Delay -> LAL Octavella fuzz. Used this setup yesterday without any issues, first noticed the noise today. However, I think the overdrive was there before I placed it after the Echorec.
Halp!

I know this sounds silly, but try one of the other power plugs on the PP+. Use one that isn't the high ma and see if that fixes it. I shit you not, same thing happened to me, I switched it, and it's fine now. But yes, it also hates your other pedals. LOL

Will try that! Tried it in the other "L6"-output, that didn't do any good. Maybe it wants to be starved for power? And strangled? Maybe it wants me to beat it when we make love? Hey, I don't judge.

Nah, it didn't help. I mean, the noise wasn't as loud, but when engaged it didn't really phase at all.
This is fucked up. Can't it just work like it's supposed to?
EDIT: Tried some more stuff, still not working properly. This is weird. I guess this is what I get when I finally allow some modulation on my board. Should've just gotten another delay or fuzz instead. I mean, this thing sounds good, but if I can't have it bypassed on my board without loads of noise for whatever reason, I'd rather get something else. No hate on Infanem, I just don't want this thing deciding the order of stuff on teh board.

Thanks guys!
It is really lost. Between two custom offices in Germany. Dhl is responsible for this. I will fuck them next week when i get the printed statement of the custom office, that they handed it over to dhl and they signed for it.
