Haha Blake, that Blake gif rules! You been watching the new season?

Well, I ordered another proto pcb on Sunday, hopefully will be here for Friday. I did about a dozen tests to the last proto to get the clock noise out of the left signal but I really think it comes down to proximity. The delicate sensitive input pin of the left BBD was about 2mm away from the noisy clock pins...

So this layout has the clock moved away from the BBD chips, adoy, and now I'm super anxious/nervous to find out if it's gonna be quiet or not! If it's quiet, we're golden. Everything else is tweaked and set up and ready except for one further pondering of the box depth... the 1590BB vs the 125BB, same length and width but the 125BB is about a quarter inch taller and would make the build a lot easier except sourcing that size will be awkward since 4Site doesn't make them... so I'm still pondering that a bit...

Hopefully this weekend I'll build the bestest proto yet into a killer box etched by Jwar...

You don't see many of the 125BB's around. I obviously prefer to keep all pedals at the same height to avoid overstepping or understepping, and it looks more uniform, but I obviously can't speak for you and the production process. I'll buy this pedal either way. That's about the extent of my input.

Well it's about 6mm taller than a 1590BB... I don't think anybody's gonna trip over it. Have you ever seen a pedal board with every pedal the exact same height, down to a few millimeters?

WHUT?

Also wanted to add that I was honored to the etch for this. I hope everyone digs it. I know I had fun. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

It looks killer, Adam, and I'm excited to have it be my proper Cosmi... your box plus my new layout will culminate in the final perfect proto!

And I agree, I don't like when pedals are so tall that you can't rest your heel on the floor and have your toe on the stomp, I think that's an important ergonomic detail... but I might consider adding 6mm so I wouldn't have to hand grind the back of every Cosmi in 4 places to get it to fit over the jacks in the 1590BB... I know me and that's going to become a drag... maybe.. I'm still pondering it...

Tanya and I have been talking today about how cool it would be if we could do a kickstarter for this sucker rather than having to go way into debt for it, but it's a bit of an ordeal for Canadians to do a project.

You think a pre-order would go over well?

Jack's did with the SuperMoon. It went way better than he thought it would. I'd say it will, especially since the V1 and V2 have been discontinued and the only way to buy one was to find a random dealer with one left or pick up a used one.

Right on, it was at a discounted price vs the MSRP maybe? Or came with a goodie like a shirt? Or a different finish? A pre-order needs some kind of treat hey?

Haha Jeff, nice old guy!

Maybe discount it a few buckaroo's and shirt?

A limited finish would be friggin awesome.... but that would guarantee that I'd buy both. DAMNIT!!

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The pre-order price for the SuperMoon was $140, while the RRP was $180. That was a pretty big saving, in my opinion. But then again, a lot of the dealers like Prymaxe and PGS that stock you guys regularly offer 10-15% off to their email list subscribers, and that would save you around the same amount. They'd also have better shipping rates and the ability to buy other things at the same time if you wanted to.

Guillaume @ Fairfield is doing pre-order with a special price to start (before the pedal is in store)
I think it's a great idea.

@Excane... I'm in Canada... so... :p *kidding*
