ex-bandmates invited me over for brownies and jams. They're gonna meet the Snowdrift tonight XD

Well that was fun.

What was WAY MORE FUN, my (ex-)guitarist's older brother happens to be my best friend Tom, and the band went upstairs, I stayed with my bass, and Tom drummed with me. And this D n' B was out of this world. Probably 45 minutes of us seamlessly moving between jazz breakdowns with me soloing into punk riffs with him soloing. Oh, and I had my Snowdrift and an Analogman chorus on the whole time. Sounded STELLAR.
Then there was seriously about an hour of Primus-y-ish-inspired bits where I use this really strummy percussivey technique. Was so proud of myself. This had my trusty Tronographic Rusty Box on the whole time, and it's proved it can run with the other guys of the sonic spectrum more than well enough.
Shit. That was fun.

The jazzy stuff was very Jaco inspired but it sounded SO FUCKING GOOD.
