it's always struck me as odd that Kevin alters the handle...i have never played a Jazzmaster, but i found it fairly easy to do the warbly-bend-up-to-the-chord thing with a Strat tremolo set up to float.

Good point. Depends on the brand/quality but it tends to leave a mess. Only handling 9-18V, painters tape would work (no warranty expressed or implied )?

I was thinking I needed some pedals, but then I remembered my 70CDR can do the things I wanted the new pedals for.

I don't think any pedal is worth $400, that's amp-level money.
