Ok, I had to catch up a bit, but...
Conky, that's gold. I always wanted some stars wars ink but I have non idea what to settle on...maybe a droid.

dase, what's the name of your band?

And clearly I have some string shopping to do. I sussed out Ernie Ball, they do individual string packs in the same gauges as those D'addarios, but they don't ship to oz.
That blows.

I'm seriously jazzed up for this! My big Rat is the first pedal I ever bought, years ago. Actually I bought an old Big Muff and the Rat at the same time from Guitarville. Anyway, I've never tinkered with a Rat nor have I played a seriously modded one. Good times on the horizon!

Sounds like you need some better places and times broheim!

SERIAL HAWK RULES. They played Denver last night and killed it hard. Their drummer is a beast.

Serial Hawk is radical! Did you notice the different drummer in the video? That dude has a band down in Arizona called Chiefs now. He plays guitar in that one.

Well I am definitely from outer space...

AxAxSxS wrote:Got to hang out for a bit with Darren tonight. Always a pleasure.

The pleasure was mine! Your jam room is insane. I know everybody's seen this guy's pics but they don't really do justice to The Wall. When both of you leaned on those volume pedals I thought you'd blow another light off the ceiling. That was fun. I hope you get along with that pedal and I hope even more you get this drummer situation ironed out. If you can get out there with it you'll certainly be unique with that 12 string sound and the coolass gear.

skullservant wrote:ALSO D-Day I dug the clip of your band too. Everything sounded excellent :thumb:

Thanks alot! That Joonior Studios dude has a way of portraying the good side of the bands he works with. Our little sesh at his place turned out good and I'm not the least bit surprised that the first live video I can get into came from him as well.

THIS SHIT IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE!

I couldn't get enough for the past two days. Today though I'm all about that Mico de Noche bonus track. In fact I will now link it again! http://micodenoche.bandcamp.com/track/a ... onus-track

Thanks for the AW love guys! I appreciate the positivity :animal:

pedal is rocking, especially with that kramer project I'm working on. you should bring your tony down to try it out on my rig, maybe its an amp thing?
I gotta put that bass on hold for a bit cause the pickups I ordered got messed up and the guy sent me two J's and now he's saying lace aluma P's are on backorder.
Also, there's a peavey classic 400 for sale locally. a little steep and I cant swing it unless I get lucky and sell some more excess gear. Do really want it for tony to use but if we cant get it you guys should. 8 6550's.

8 FREAKING 6550'S!!!

I SAY AGAIN, 8 MOTHERFUCKING 6550'S!!!!!!

that cannot sound bad I am thinking.

Drummer search continues. Had a couple good ones come through and we'll see if one of em pans out. I'm not digging the whole thing of telling people no. I'd much rather have shit just be so good that there's no possible way anyone could think it cant happen. Dude we we're talking about the other night is rad, but has no gear here. FAAAAAK. tomorrow another drummer and if that falls through we'll record vocs and maybe have something to share here.

Awesome. Very, very awesome. I assume you are using an Ape Blaster? What sort of fuzz is the other guitarist using?

Hey Doom bros, I'm in Tennessee this weekend visiting The Riffer, good times lay ahead.

His band was supposed to be playing tonight but the drummer got hurt and backed out. Instead, I'm gonna join the remainder of his band for completely unrehearsed 25min drone set. Should be interesting, I've never stepped foot on a stage with zero preparation, completely clueless in terms of what I'm about to play. Couple drinks, lotta volume, let it rip, hope for the best....

How is Riffer's drummer doing? Is it his knee again?

Think it's his shoulder this time around, not too sure. Mark just informed me this was going down Thursday night so kinda flying by the seat of my pants here.

You'll be fine. Doom and Drone music is so easy to jam to.

Got the speaker installed in my new cab today. It's an Eminence Delta 12LFC, 4 ohms, 500w. I actually had it installed in the Verellen but swapped it when I got the Jet City head. Completely overkill, but I like knowing there is no way I can blow the speaker. It sounds fucking MASSIVE in this new cab with the Traynor. It honestly puts the Verellen to shame in the low end department :wha?:

Yeah, if it wasn't a drone set there's no way I'd be hopping on stage this cold. That is fact.

Will do! I'd love to make it up east sooner than later, visit you and Skip and Evan/skullservant. Would be a tons of fun!
