Got to try a CE-2w at work the other day and it was fucking rad. Everything from subtle shimmer to really seasick vibrato. I don't really need a chorus because of the pitchfactor but it seems like it would be rad after some pitch shifted stuff.

I wanted to want the VP-03, but the lack of an external in to mix with the mic (and bypass the onboard synth, when I felt like doing so) killed that. I'm back to thinking the Boss vocoder pedal might be my huckleberry...

It's got that XLR in though? Also, can't you just swipe the string mix slider down? Full disclosure I have not genuinely looked through the specs

He's talking about an option to change the carrier, the XLR input/mic is for the modulator.
