Seeing those MOOG pedals lined up like that is scrubbing my brain real nice. Did you remove the wood in between them too?
:thumb:
I did, I made blocks the same shape as inside of the wood ends so they are basically one huge pedal

That's so fucking cool. Always thought those pedals looked like they were ment to be lined up exactly like this, so this is doing something for me. Excellent work!

Doomy bass board for ILFEU! :zen:

Smallsound Bigsound Mini > BAT Priestess > Dunwich/Magic Pedals Volt Thrower clone, all in the FX loop of the HX Stomp so I can move it around in the chain.

Super cool!!! I wondered about using the FX loop on my HX Stomp, but I always go straight inline inside it with all my drive/fuzz pedals.

I think it's nice to be able to move it around. From adding compressors, EQs, pitch shifters or verbs in front, to running it in parallel with other effects, only adding a touch of gain to something less full-on doomy, or even just adding a bit of clean blend if need be. I find it adds a lot of flexibility. With these flat EBS cables it doesn't take up any more space either. Win, win, innit?

flat patch cables with compact plugs are my favorite thing in the last ten years of pedaling.

Totes. My favorite are the D'addario and RockStock ones.

i haven’t found any crappy ones yet, and have used EBS, Ernie Ball, D’Addario, and others i don’t recall. my main board layout now would be impossible without them.

apparently i haven’t got a picture handy of the main board since the Haxan replaced the D+. i’ll have to rectify that soon.

I had an issue with the Ernie balls on one setup with a couple really noise prone tube pedals.. but not on my other board.. I think I’m running mostly hosa and Ernie ball…

Warwick Rockboard flat patches suck ass. The body of the right angle jack is too bulky for something that's supposed to be compact, and the leverage of the big honkin' plastic bit against the cable causes it to pull apart and fail.

Right angles would open another dimension, but for now my feet are planted on terra firma.
