Expression controlled pitch is the single most fun thing about the Whammy, though.

Looks a bit like mine. Mine's full scale though, after a zillion attempts to adapt to ss, I decided it's just not for me...:idk:

Noice it is pretty similar! & he emailed me back and I got it! It looks beat up in all the right ways, satin finish everything, chunky neck, even the bridge pickup sounds good and I usually don't care at all for bridge pickups. Im swooning so hard  now to mod all this wiring...

Will post pics later.

That DU-SEQ got me all interested in Euro haha. And it is because of that dang DU-RDT you built (never had seen it before you posted it on Instagram). Went looking into it and thought it was pretty cool then saw the seq and was kinda hooked (it's the sequencer I had kind of always dreamed of...oberkorn and metropolis had me interested a while back too). Playing with synths and RMA stuff more lately didn't help haha.

But, if I get into eurorack, it's your fault fever606 (and Detroit underground).

The NT03 consists of two square wave voltage controlled oscillators, a holtek voice modulator circuit, a voltage controlled filter(VCF), and a low frequency oscillator(LFO) that can either/or modulate the filter cutoff, gate the voice modulator transpose sequencer.

Hnnnnnnnng, I really need to get some Noystoise stuff.
They all look like something you'd expect to see in an airplane or space shuttle.

If someone buys this, can I demand a gut shot? Last I checked, 7400 series logic came in monolithic IC form, not discrete. If people are going to start using discrete to describe DIP package logic builds I guarantee you I will lose my fucking mind. ...and it won't be pretty.

Haha, I didn't even notice that (they also use that term on the ad copy). Kinda funny.

I assume they are doing everything to point out there is not AVR chip in there haha. Probably meant something more like descete analog with 7400 series or something...all just buzzwords/marketing.

I just like the idea of gates options built in :idk:

(Personally looking at frac rack more haha)

I still think oberkorn is damn neat too.

Anyway, just a random thought: something that I have found out reading about eurorack I find kinda weird...a lot of the modules are all built in the same factory and still go for quite a bit of money compared to a guitar pedal that is handbuilt (with a more robust case usually). People always complain about standalone effects, but I don't see the same complaints as often on the eurorack end...maybe I just haven't read as much into it or whatever.

Also, if the factory starts to suck, doesn't it take a lot of companies with it :idk: just found it odd....I thought it was a bit more like guitar effects than like mass manufactured stuff.

The DU-RDT is legit and was a pretty easy build... I'm really happy with it, and I'll probably build another! The DU-SEQ is getting a lot of flack for its similarity to the Metropolis for not a lot less money, but I like the feature set on the DU more. And yeah, it's basically everything that I want from a euro sequencer... the AD Sequencer 1 is really the only other contender for me in that space, but this looks more fun and immediate. And with a pair of RDTs (and the Ornament+Crime and Strange Tales is soldering up for me) it should be a pretty crazy setup!

I'll send you some transistor porn when I finally pick one up (after my honeymoon, because I've got fuck all for spare time to play with it until after that.
