MORE. MODULATION. ALWAYS.

..... or that might be enough.

haha.

I'll probably dump Maths.
Put URA, a Uclouds and attenuation in it's place. Or Toppo TWF, Pico Logic and attenuation. Maybe a Benjolin and attenuation. Hard to say. I'll play with this stuff for the next few months and think about it.

Either way. Expanding after this with Effects, a sequencer and utilities will be easier now.

WOOT.
Depending on when you ordered it might be out. He posted recently on Muffs that he was getting a lot more E352 preorders out the door before starting the E370 stuff.

yeah. he told me in email it would be "end of next week", which was last Friday. i saw that thread that said things ordered in September (i ordered mines in September) would hopefully go out today.

but like. if it doesn't, it looks it won't ship till next year? because he's focusing on E370's then taking a break for the holidays.

which, if it goes out this week, cool. it's still going to be 4.5 weeks after the site said it would be when i ordered. but that's annoying, not horrible. but if it's not till next year not going to be happy.

lol. don't know if i'll DO anything about it. but. won't be happy.

just saying. if you have it listed as In Stock on your site, with a ship date of 4 weeks, HONOR that shit.

Are you sure. Look at this shit. haha. It is nice to have options. I gotta get with the modulate the modulators program. As I have tons to spare. But I do have a lot of holes to fill.

I have an Intellijel 7U coming as well... looks like we've got a lot of the same modules (some of mine being en route). Pam's, Batumi, Quad VCA. ::tips hat::

Good luck fillin' them holes, btw

Sorry to self promote in the gear thread, but my podcast just released a new episode, its *mostly* modular synth music with spoken word, and its always free. Have a listen if you like or subscribe at iTunes or other places. This is one track from episode 9.

Anyone here using Instruo gear? I'm thinking about ordering some of their stuff directly. Most interested in that Harmonaig...

God help me to not order the brass plate option.

I like your rack dozicusmaximus! Those Mannequins modules are so great.
I recently got a GPI (Guitar Pedal Interface) and achieved some of the gnarliest fuzzin's of my life routing my guitar through the Cold Mac with self-patching.

Never messed with the Instruo but their aesthetic is pretty great & that new sequencer/quantizer thing they've got cooking looks pretty ultimate.

What's the interface? I'm curious... I've been really enjoying modular but have just been experiencing it as a pretty self-contained thing, haven't integrated any guitar yet. Would love to hear how you've done it and what you liked :)*

Yeah their stuff sounds so good, particularly interested in the Sisters. Worra got a Mangrove, I know... will have to pick his brain about it a bit. Gotta say I do love my STO though :p

It's actually just called a GPI from Retro Mechanical Labs. The shipping was super fast & it sounds hella good. It's got two send/returns, and each return is buffered multed to two outputs. You could use it for processing two different lines in parallel or you can do stereo processing. It's got knob-variable signal cut at the FX send as well, which is dandy. Also only 8hp & $95 after shipping. It seems like a no brainer. The only cool feature I've seen other FX send/returns do is adding an envelope follower but I've got that in my Cold Mac & an Ears is only ~$100. The only quirk is I still had a ton of signal cut when I tried to run my guitar straight into my mixer after straight from the GPI, but I patched it into the second level boosting preamp and got a nice full/clean guitar signal through that was totally capable of exciting Rings.
Plus I've moved my Patchulator up to the tabletop now to integrate with the modular (for quick/dynamic FX rearrangements or easy signal ins to the modular and out to my mixer/interace) and I don't need 1/8" to 1/4" conversion cables anymore :)*

Cool! I'll most definitely look into that, sounds indeed like a no-brainer.

My main interest so far for my system has been in synth voices, whether played, sequenced or generative... but I know that as time goes on, I'll get more and more interested in processing external sounds, guitar or otherwise. At the VERY least it seems like it'd be fun as hell to get some kinda nasty guitar sounds by running driven through the E440 or with the Quad VCA cascaded... but that's just the wee tip of the iceberg. I know they're sort of old hat at this point, but I still want a Clouds, or whatever improved version thereof he comes out with next. And then Damon's got me all interested in an SMR now, dammit...

And yep, I said just the wee tip. Thought about taking it out but left it in. Oy, this is becoming an ouroboros of TWSS. A generative patch, if you will
