mooooof. can't believe i like an EHX pedal. i just picked up the Holy Stain. makes me think maybe i don't dislike reverb, i just haven't played through GOOD reverb. might be ordering an IE Nimbus soonish. i like the pitch shifter a lot too. stoopid fucking layout though. EHX is weird. it's like there's nobody that works there that's ever played out. good ideas sometimes, shitty, SHITTY execution.

I know that there is a huge point of conflict between Apple Fanboi and the rest of the world. Apple has made some cool products and some cost prohibitive products. I love my iPod Touch,...but I don't think I'd ever get an iPhone and could never afford a Mac and I really can stand Apples form of planned obsolescence. A lot of people ARE pretty dumb when it comes to computers and for them the Mac OS is much more user friendly (if they can afford it).
That said if you are anything from mildly computer savvy to a down right hacker,....get a windows machine. Way much more bang for the buck.

I'm not an Apple fan(boy) either... I think they sell their stuff to over high prices and are not really top notch with their products (compare Samsung Galaxy S-2 and Apple iPhone 4-S) IDk.... never dug the iOS or iMacs or MacBooks either...
AND------ not all EHX is bad... just... ya'know... the BAD stuff sucks
yeahhhhhhhhhh...... planned obsolescence, an EXPENSIVE upgrade path for current gen products by purposefully never having an external memory slot......... $400 or so for the bass model of iPad? already too much money. then adding $100 for every 2 or 4 gigs of memory you have while every OTHER tablet on the market has a flash drive slot so you can add 8 gigs for about $20? INSULTING.
fuck Apple.

I've said for years that Apple isn't a computer/electronics mfgr, but actually a cult that sells tech to the faithful; I've always disagreed with their planned obsolescence marketing plan, and that they will drop support for previous models about 5 minutes after a replacement model is released; and you cannot tell me that the 'lost the prototype phone in the bar' routine was not intentionally done. Both times.
All that said, I also believe that most of the non-geek world (like my mom) would be happier with a Mac rather than a Windows machine.

yeah. i hate that they're so popular that i kinda NEEDED to buy an iPhone so i could find a decent cheap car deck that would charge it and run digital audio out off of one cable.
but yeah, in a way, it's cool that there's a very user friendly for non techie's company out there. just silly that they're the most espensives.
