Try something like a Boss Fz2 for this. Altough Reznor does a lot of studio fucker and feedback patterns for his sound too, so there's that. He also does a lot of fuzz guitar plugged straight into console and then filtered/eq'd to bits.

Yeah, I figured post processing played a big part of that sound, but would an FZ-2 give the same texture? And which mode?

Lavacable stuff is a little less than half the George L stuff.

Are there any "one stomp" effects loop switchers? For example, if you want to switch from effect loop 1 to loop 3, you just stomp on 3? (and loop 1 is automatically deactivated?) Having to turn off a loop, then turn another one on is a hassle. In other words, I want **only one loop at a time** or the ability to select that.

That's what it sounds like to me. Also, putting distortion plugins on DI guitars, e.g. iZotope Trash which I think he was quoted using around this time.

Gigrig G2 and I believe the Boss MS- series should do this

Never thought of renters insurance actually, but pretty sure it will be crap if that even exists over here, and my landlord is not being helpful.

You might look into a heavy-duty security door, if you can afford it and are allowed to modify your door. There's also the option of hiding mini GPS sensors in your stuff, in the event of theft. ----Personally I like trap doors and cages, but that's probably not an option for you.

Although your best bet may just be to keep your gear somewhere safer (as you said), if you're away from your apartment much of the time.

Naw son, you can't just add a heavy door and call it a day, that actually makes it worse. You either have to go all out or nothing.

My neighbor just got robbed when he was getting out of his house, tied the whole family down while they took their TVs and shit. I guess the only thing they could take is my guitar, I don't think they are into pedals and 2x12 amps lol
