It works, maybe I could swap position with the Locust, but so far I'm super happy with this setup!
Angel Teeth is super handy here, can cover all these roles from overdrive to fuzz.

i broke down and finally decided to get a larger board. it's not that much bigger--2" in depth and width-- but it'll give me room so things aren't so cramped. theoretically i could fit more pedals in the middle tier, but that raises the power supply issue. the current board has 11 9V pedals, a Fender Tube Tremolo that can run on 9V but wants 12V, and a TC SCF flanger that needs a 120V AC outlet. the only thing i can find that'll work is the new Fender supply. PolyTune is going back on, dirt section condensed to Distortion+/3-knob Great Wall/Catalinbread germanium Fuzzrite. i would like to fit another pedal that does some weird abstract shit for my experimental playing, but i don't think i'll do that right now because i don't want to get too spendy or have to squeeze it in at the same time i'm transferring the old layout. i still have to order the power supply. still not thrilled with the delay situation...i'm now back to using the TC Flashback because it has the longest hang time. the old Ernie Ball volume pedal died; i tried to replace the cord with the repair kit, but after hours of struggling it still didn't work right so i said fuck it, recycled it, and got a VP Jr. i preferred the taper on the full-sized pedal, but not enough that it's a big issue. once this is sorted the next project is the looper board, which will feature 2 Ditto X2 units with a stereo pan pedal to crossfade between loops and some other doodads yet to be determined. i have to take the Shallow Water off the frontend board and send it to Fairfield; i bought it used and it's hella noisy. so that stuff will have to settle for a bit.

last iteration of the old board before the new power supply comes and i switch everything over. getting the Fender 12x9V power supply. tuner is back, dirt/fuzz cut to 3 boxes.
Ernie Ball VP Jr. -> TC Polytune -> 70s MXR Distortion+ -> Fuzzhugger FX 3-knob Great Wall ->Catalinbread germanium Fuzzrite -> EMMA Discumbobulator envelope filter -> Mojo Hand FX Villanova optical Uni-Vibe -> Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge v.1 -> TC SCH chorus/flanger (always in flanger mode) (carriage return) -> Boss CH-1 chorus -> Ibanez PM7 Phase Modulator (wonky phaser) -> Fender Marjorie Taylor Greene Tube Tremolo -> TC Flashback v.1 delay -> Earthquaker Ghost Echo v.1 reverb.
apparently i always prefer the original version of a pedal to its revisions. i much prefer the Randy's v.1 because it's warmer, and the original Ghost Echo to its revision. i also liked the older Digitech Whammys better, and find the Particle v.1 better than v.2 though i don't need it because i've pretty well got my weirdball shit covered now. i was going to try and fit some crazy shit in the middle tier of the new board, but may not need to since i could be getting a set of the Snazzy FX units which would take up my entire old board and kind of obviate the need for additional wacky processing devices. [edit: the Snazzy FX thing is happening]

That looks killer. I'm always envious of people who have the dexterity to deal with multi-layer and multi-orientation pedalboards.

Currently going for 1 dirt 1 modulation 1 utility setup, but then I found that Prince nearly all-Boss pedalboard & decided 2 post that 4 posterity's sake, instead
Gotta be something about the OG Alex Turner setup, though
