obviouuuuusly really dug on the Bliss pedals i've had. not sold on the Otto, might swap it for a Bitmap and Dusk. Otto is nifty but... lot of space for the main thing i like, the bit crushing. and my little bass noobling yarea -

i... need to learn more about actually playing bass well.
He's back ladies and germs!

Do you have an opening for a desk troll? If so I would like to live in that room with all of those buttons  - which chase bliss is your favorite? I played the blooper brefily and never bonded - curious as your throughs are towards the mood.

I also want to know what you think about the Walrus Canvas DI - playing music for as long as I have I am pretty stupid about them - I am assuming your using the Darkglass as a pre-amp and using the DI to level out the signal.

I too have been curious as I never pulled the trigger on a H9/ Max - Hp42 did a killer deep dive on the pedal on youtube. It puts out the purdy sounds - but at 900.00 purdy? ohi!

heyyyy gurrrrL!

lol. you like buttons? HIDE UNDER MY MANY BUTTONS.

i have too much shit. yay hobbies?

Walrus - yessuh! i go out the Darkglass into my USB mixer for clean mono, out Walrus into USB mixer for end of chain mashings. Darkglass for main tone and ugly weird distortions. i'm a git about line appropriateness so... i think that's the right way to do it?

Chase - so far Mood is actually my favorite. i JUST got the Blooper in so i have zero opinions on it yet. Habit does some amazing stuff, but it's so quirky that i need to sit down and slow go through some tutorials. i keep getting clunky battling loops i like then accidentally completely wrecking them into silence.

lol. yeah. it's... it's not cheap. i think it should be 6 hundy, 7 tops. if you like the Factor boxes a lot and always wished you had them compressed into one smaller box but hated the zero tactile interface of the H9 (me), then it's an awesome upgrade. almost care more about the knobs and being able to program toanz from the box more than being able to run an H9 into an H9. very weird there's not a straight up bit crusher algorithm on the H90 though.

it sounds great. very digital. all my favorite bits of digital really. i have this pedalboard running in and out of a patchbay, Bliss Loot and especially H90 are amaaaazebutts fun with drum machines and synths.

it's nice not trying to make the bass sound like a synth. keeps it simpler.

routing - have a box from Eruckus on the way that's two bypass loops with a flip option. out of the loop end of signal will always be Generation Loss into H90, that's where the stereo happens, but will let me put the Blooper in front of or behind effects chains.

i misssssed pedal butts.

I too have suffered from "try-them-all-itus" and currently things look like this:

Image

I'm still waiting on a Wombtone II (since Dec 6th) and have considered a Tonal Recall but not bitten yet.

saw your board! verrrry sexy suh.

i dig the Tonal Recall. still miss the AD 4096 thinger, but that might be nostalgic reminiscences more than anything.

hey gurrrrrrrrRRRL! how's things been?

oh man. that thing sounds AMAZING. so freaking versatile. i've been running the Perkons through this board as much as bass, Gen Loss is ridiculously tasty on Perk. well, kinda on... everything.

No—but pretty depressing and slow, so you're not far off!

Imagine a pedalboard without fab tone… I'd sooner go without the tuner!

I actually do a bit of blackened skramz (ish) in another band, but I use a smorgasboard of pedals for that one.

Think quieter! *A lot* quieter! The fab tone is only on like 5% of the time.

ooooo! this (surprisingly) tiny guy just got in -

purports to merge up to 4 Expression Pedal Inputs into the MIDI stream. wanted to try running MIDI into all the Chase's and H90 with the help of the MIDI Boxes and this so i can use the VP Jr Danno etched me forever ago and the Bliss Exp as controllers. kinda gonna be distracted with the Gamechanger Motor Synth this weekend, but want to work on setting that up soon.
