My only tools were a drill and a crappy 6" hand saw so the little windows on the side for cables to pass through could be neater, but whatever. Now I need some more pedals to populate it...
The top of the crate acts as a nice little riser. The box isn't as wide as the picture makes it look, but if the ULTRA FANCY FOLDING DOOR starts to bug me, those pins are really easy to remove from the hinges :animal:

Love it :thumb:

How do you like the Verelian? (sp?)

The board itself is about 10 pounds, because I used angle iron for the trim when I should have used aluminum. Then the weight of the pedals. And there's no flight case / cover for it, so I don't know if I like it that much other than to keep all my pedals organized on the floor at home. Luckily, that means I don't have to move it much.

Thanks :)*

I like it a lot (Verellen lulz)-- ultra heavy and doomy. The first mode is scooped, so I tend to leave it on the second which is mid-heavy and muffy-sounding. Mode one is "HUGE" and mode 2 two is "general use". You get a volume boost in mode 2 as well. It's octave down and up and I believe the circuit is based on an Ace Tone FM-2. Power chords into it absolutely destroy, really sounds amazing at high volumes...the sound I get from it isn't an approximation of what I wanted, it's exactly the sound I had in my head and was searching for.

If you throw other fuzzes into it, it gets a little splattery and I feel loses the low-end hugeness so I tend to use it alone, however mid-scoop mode into the Arc Flash rounds it out a bit and sounds nice. And of course it gets a little crazy with the drive knob fully up. The enclosure is BADASS! I got mine for $120 on ebay from a dude who couldn't fit it into his band context but I think they're $200 new. It's fucking amazing to me and there's no way in hell I'm getting rid of it.

There aren't many demos of it but this is probably the best one:

Damn that Big Spider sounds sick. I love the enclosure as well and may find some inspiration from it. I like the enclosures for the Monome Midi controllers as well.

Wired up but it is probably going to change here shortly. I want some modulation on my board.
