I love it - it’s really tweakable, lots of different options, lots, etc. I found a drum machine too much work to program, this is the perfect balance of simple and tweakable. Very very happy with it!!

Yes, I bought it early Jan along with the Joyo ebow.
Looking forward to hearing what you do with it!

I'm still tinkering with things and haven't recorded anything yet this year, mostly because I haven't been in the mood yet - I am enjoying playing and getting things organised though :)

Having seen your boards/setups over a long period, it is interesting what you have decided to keep and that you've downsized so much. What's the top left pedal?

retinal orbita wrote:I sold a shit ton of pedals recently and bought the Boss looper and Synth. Everything is real casual and gets moved around all the time. I could even take a distortion off the board and not miss a trick. I am in love with the data corrupter. It’s my favourite thing. I want to sell everything and buy a PurPLL as well. I love that sound. All I want to do is loop spacey shit in my basement. With a PLL. I love the Humongous Fuzz too. And I am REALLY into the Grunge. I didn’t love the Bass Grunge I have but this is just real smooth with lots of sustain. It’s a sleeper for bass!

Also my mother in law gave me this rug and I wanted to show it off.
Curious what the two pedals are between the looper and the SY-200? And looks you are using the SY-200 primarily for bass (or were when that pic was taken)?

It's an Intensive Care Audio Fideleater.

I've still got 10-15 other pedals here that I can swap in and out (including the Miku :thumb: ), but a large reason for downsizing has been the two Zoias and three Beebos, they can cover so much ground that I don't need to have quite so many stands up at once.

Silver one is a Pepers Pedal Humongous Fuzz (Hyper Fuzz clone) and the black one is a XIX Tech HMD-1 (HM2 clone). Both are great!!

And yes I don’t play guitar, I only use these for bass guitar.

Oh, hi there! The Boss FS-7 double switch is for the Boss RC-3 Loop Station, the light blue box is the MJM Sixties Vibe (a Uni-Vibe clone) and my combinations are not too weird:

#1 For guitar solos: wah/fuzz/delay

#2 When I want to use the Sixties Vibe with a dirty amp during a guitar solo: smooth fuzz (that would be the Reptile Fuzz, the small greenish box below the Sixties Vibe)/Uni-Vibe/amp's OD. Obviously just during a solo because the combination doesn't sound very good if I'm going to play riffs.

#3 For heavier songs: I use the two pedals below the Sixties Vibe, London Fuzz II (silicon Fuzz Face clone) and the Reptile Fuzz. Wall of fuzz, VERY heavy and prone to feedback.

#4 If I want a nasty distortion during a solo: MJM Roctavios (Octavia clone) with the Boost knob at 3 o'clock and the London Fuzz (germanium Fuzz Face clone)... obviously using the guitar's neck pickup.

I still need to hang my deer head and a metal flag or two but it’s coming along.

Finally sorted out the rats nest. The gold pedal is a Basic Audio Throbby.

Nice. What stuff are you using on the Zoia?

I only got it 2 months ago and I've been away for the last 6 weeks so I haven't really dived into it too heavily yet. I've only been using it with guitars so far, I do have a MIDI-capable keyboard but that's a long way off being Zoia'd. Some of the presets it came loaded with are cool but not necessarily things I'd use myself. Mainly I've been learning how to build patches - delays, glitchy loopers, granular reverbs, detuned things of various guises - stuff in the realm of Particle/Tensor/CT5.
