soooooooo, speaking of bass and effects n shit, what do you guys think of the recent Primus album? I thought it was pretty good. Not too primusy wich kinda sucks, but still pretty damn good. Lots of cool bass lines on it as usual.

I thought it was classic Primus,....songs about Meth and Fishing. I liked. It's cool to hear Jay Lane on drums.

Seriously. People think Claypool is goofy, but that motherfucker is DARK above all else. I really enjoyed his book, I hope he writes more. I haven't heard the new Primus yet, but I finally ordered it from B7N.
I recently picked up a Church of MIsery album (based solely on the KNEEBASS picture from earlier in this thread) and HOLY LIVING FUCK does that dude get a great bass tone. Pretty neat album too.

Cool, the only one I have is Houses of the Unholy, I dig it a lot. The vocals are kinda ridiculous at times, but eh. "Shotgun Boogie" is a great song.
What did you get?

That's the one I got, yep. I really dig it, although it's more rockarolla than I expected, given that they seem pretty proud to be labeled doom. Which is fine, just wasn't expected.
It's October! That means these three albums get so much god damn play it feels like I'm cheating on the rest of my music collection:
