Thank you all for the infos, Particle V2 placed on the top of my list.
I also would love to hear the modes with zero or almost-zero delay time because it's a setting I generally love in delays and use it a lot to get resonating effects.

Ya I’ll try and post some more demos of using the particle without delay time in the next couple of days. Firstly, if you’re not using the web editor, all 3 of the pitch+ modes don’t have delay (the delay/pitch knob just controls pitch just like the particle v1). With the web editor, you can further tweak these by controlling other hidden parameters in “modeless” operation. In the meantime, if you listen to the main track I posted with silly drum groove, some of my parts were without using delay (the chord pads, the glitchy lead, and the ascending wobbly pitch parts I believe).

Just got a TKOG mini glitch in the mail yesterday. Only had about 10 minutes with it last night, and it’s cool, but not one that I instantly fell in love with. Does anyone who has or had one have any tips on where it works best in the signal chain, other pedals to pair it with, cool tips and tricks in general?

I have a Fabrikat and a tensor and I feel like possibly that might be enough glitch for me.

Aside from the trigger mode the Tensor will do everything the Mini Glitch will do and at higher fidelity.

After checking out some demos, I just felt the mini-glitch sounded more like what I wanted in a straightforward glitch than the tensor. What settings on the Tensor do you recommend for getting that kind of straightforward glitch/stutter sound?

Just use the record setting and momentary on the left switch and capture short loops. It works like a ReVolver and latches the sample until you capture another one or bypass the pedal. A Raptio is better than the mini glitch for purely momentary stuff IMO.

I also reduced the effect volume with the internal trimpot, and that improved the experience for me, as I wanted it to be a little more subtle overall - not that much, just a touch!

I'm working with a Tensor, a Particle v2, Count to 5, and a Mandala and this thread added a few more to my GAS list. I've gone the deepest with the Tensor. I've spent a significant amount of time with the Count to 5 and there are just SO many combinations of settings to really "get it" fully so far, but there are a few mode 1 settings I can easily dial in deliberately. Barely scratched the surface w Particle v2 beyond capturing a few quick presets and similar story on the Mandala so far. They all seem to bring their own thing to the table.

I know that most here are not into MIDI (it really is worth the investment as it puts every knob twist and button at your feet, unlocking unbelievable potential for a live musician), but is anyone controlling the Particle w MIDI? I'm looking for a solution to send MIDI from my Boss ES-8 to the Particle and a Tensor and also Meris pedals (I just got a Hedra). Shopping around and the only thing seems to be disaster area to control multiple Meris, but only one Red Panda...ideally want to control 2 Red Panda and 2 Meris (got my eye on an ottobit jr)

Red panda has some usb hosts listed on their website, 2 of which can do multiple pedals, or you can purchase 2 midi Baby’s from Disaster Area. Unfortunately no one makes a multi-usb host interface that’s both cheap and small for stashing under the board.

Get the disaster midi box for the meris pedals since it’s like $50. Meris pedal’s midi has a bit of a different implementation than some of the other 1/4” midi pedals that I found to cause ground loops when plugging directly into the DA DMC, and thus the midi box mitigated the issue.

I also own the particle 2, count to 5, and mandala, all three of which are on my board (ct5 mainly for mode 1 and 2, particle for a shit ton of stuff, and mandala for when I just want an immediate glitch with latch off and kill dry on). I have the ottobit as well, it’s fun. I like the sample rate reduction, sequencing sample rate reduction, filter, and the pitch sequencer. It’s a pain to create patches cos of the hidden knobs. The glitch stuff can sound a bit too clicky for my tastes and I don’t find it to work consistently as a tempo based glitched (sometimes it just doesn’t respond or responds at the wrong time).

2 MIDI baby's is an interesting idea I had not considered, but I'd need a way to send MIDI to both since each only accepts MIDI in. If I understand correctly, I can use a MIDI Baby to control a Meris AND a Red Panda? That might be the move for what I'm seeking.

The Midi Baby has midi thru as well, you can ask DA if one of his midi Y splitter cables would work to chain them together. Otherwise, get a $50 midi thru box and connect both Midi Baby's to it. The other benefit of using the Midi Baby would be to control to have a simple bypass, tap tempo, freeze, preset scrolling, or whatever you decide to program switch that's small and accessible on top of the board. I still don't recommend connecting the Meris directly to the DA stuff due to ground loop issues with the Meris Midi implementation (I'd get clicks and wet signal bleeding through when the pedal was bypassed until I got the Midi box).

It's unfortunate that there aren't any small and affordable simple multi-USB host boxes, the dual boxes are bulky and around the same price as 2 midi baby's. Red Panda had mentioned a while ago that they may have an eventual firmware update that would allow 1/4" midi connection, but there has been no indication as to when (or if) that will happen. I'd contact DA for his recommendations though.

I reached out to Disaster Area and they suggested that they have something similar to the MIDIbaby coming out this summer that doesn't have a switch that can be stashed under the board. It was recommended I snag a pair if I want to control 2 Red Panda pedals (as jondom22 suggested). For now, I got a MIDI IO box coming and have been experimenting with TouchOSC and Red Panda in the interim.
