I've been busy af these last few days, and in the middle of my moving haze Kent told me about this and I told him yeah sure. Now that I read this, I get the weirdest droner.

So, obviously we're not plugging all of our collective gear in at once, so the power requirements should be fine. Maybe we should bring two amps if anybody wants to do a collab? But we can figure that out once you guys get here. In three weeks. Holy shit, time has passed fast.

I can probably get my dad or GF to help us transport our equipment there. It's a little too early to plan in detail, but we will make it work! :zen:

Wish you could join us, DRod!

I have a NUX Loop Core (however long of a loop you want), a NUX Time Core/Seppuku Digital Water (14 seconds? Don't remember) and a Hexe Revolver DX (4 seconds).

Hmmmkay. I'm trying to figure out how to make my usual sort of lawnmowers in the abyss sounds without any DAW processing. Hooray challenges!

Let the room be your looper :zen:

Another example of the insane reverb of the room:

Much research is required, but the SOMMS is definitely coming now.

Regarding Saturday:

1. Do we want random people to be able to watch/listen to us? If I understood Yvonne correctly, we can have a closed session if we so please. Personally, I find this to be the best option simply because more people = more unwanted sounds.

2. To make things more efficient we can either make a list of who's going to play when now or on Friday. Want to go first? Want to go last? Want to be right before/after someone else for a collab/transition? Don't care? This is also good to know for the next point.

3. I will be filming this from two angles, one camera being stationary, the other hand held (I will not be walking around). If you don't want to have your face on the Internet or don't want to be filmed at all, that is perfectly fine, but if you have a wish/preference when it comes to angles/shots, knowing this in advance will make things a lot smoother on my end.

4. If we end up being 10 people we will have roughly 20 minutes each to play when taking into account setting up and taking 10 minute breaks in between each set. You are free to do whatever you want with those 20 minutes, which includes splitting them in two for a collaboration or just two different tracks. However, exceeding those 20 minutes will result in others getting less time, so please, if you're not just winging it, try to time/plan your set in advance (just use a huge reverb pedal at the end of your chain). We can have a cell phone in airplane mode with a timer on top of one of the amps or something. I think this won't be a problem, but it would suck if we started running out of time and the last person getting like four minutes.

5. Bring thick socks/good footwear and a warm sweater. It's chilly in there, and while not freezing, spending six hours in there is bound to be cold. I will try to bring some blankets just in case, but if you can manage to fit some warm clothes in your suitcase next to your pedals and gear, that is highly recommended.

6. Bring food. After we've all met up on Friday, we will hit the grocery store before going to the rehersal space. It would probably be wise to buy enough food then to bring to the mosuleum on Saturday. If we're to show up at 12.00 and it takes roughly 1 hour to get to the mosuleum, you don't want to go grocery shopping again before that. Especially if you're hung over. ;)
