Yeah it's a tap divide essentially. I think its got 3-4 divisions you can cycle through!

Last night Rot Gut's WSG guts came and I put them together, as well as drilled the pilot holes in space6oy's pedal.

Tonight I'm going to gauge the holes in space6oy's pedal and mount hardware for it, as well as mount the new pots in Rot Gut's WSG.

Gauged the holes for Space6oy's pedal and mounted all the hardware. Still not going to give away what it is yet:

Also put all new hardware in the WSG. Going to wire that up soon

Also thinking I need to replace a cap or two in the_carl's Little Big Muff to make everything fit okay. We will see. Going to finish the WSG first

So I think the volume pot is mounted to the board, right? If changing that to wired gives you more wiggle room I'd be fine with that, but a cap replacement would be fine, too. Those things are what, 35-ish years old? Could probably use replacement anyway.

Sounds good to me man. It's really only one cap that is kind of bothersome near the new true bypass footswitch. I think I might take the bottom nut out of the footswitch to give it a LITTLE more clearance, and then just replace that ONE electrolytic with something a little more low profile so it doesn't hit the switch. I think we should be gold from there on out!

I didn't get any pictures or video yet because it was late, but last night I got the awesome fy-2+tap trem that Skully built for me. The overkill mode on the FY-2 sounds like godzilla snoring :joy: The fuzz side is so loud and the overkill mode has tons of low end and a cool blown-out speaker characteristic.

Yeah, the volume and bass on with the fuzz in overkill mode was insane. Way more rumble in the low frequencies than any of my other fuzzes (and the Hoof and Algal Bloom can maintain some pretty good lows.) That said, it's so distorted that it mangles everything in its path and sustains for a very long time. There's no individual notes left in a chord, only Zuul. Sounds great with fast power chord + riff stuff.

I can't imagine how it would sound on a proper doomy stack rather than my mids-y little 15watt head and single 12" (which was turned way down because it was after 11PM.)

And I'm still learning the tap tremolo part and finding cool stuff in it. I think the ramp-up with the speed slow and the wave distorted until it starts to sound digital is cool.

This little box is a Treble Booster that I traded with skully, so happy with this guy. I only got it today and, admittedly, a Treble Booster is not the most cray of effects but it's so good to have one. It makes your sound just that little bit gnarlier, it stacks great etc. Just a little utilitarian effect, nothing flashy but damn effective. Skully pimped this out with two switches that change the sound around a little, make it go to more bassy territories or be obnoxious trebly. Both very cool, especially when you blow this into an already dirty amp.

OK, got to get back to playing this thing.
