Oh this board is killer! I have been thinking about upgrading my Darkglass element to the cab m. How do you like it ?

I love it. I would only recommend it to people who enjoy endless tweaking and who plan to use it with a separate preamp, though. Something like a Simplifier or Iridium is gonna sound better out of the box, but the Two Notes stuff has more depth and versatility.

Model feT + Cab M combo is the first setup I've had where I can play guitar or bass into headphones, PA system or recording interface and always be able to reach a result I'm satisfied with.

Now that I have picked up guitar that’s the answer I was hoping for - a pre amp to cover both instruments then the sim to match it. I love the DG element but for now I am going to have to run two separate preamp pedal combos. I managed to do this with my MBD2 but no so much on guitar

I was using the bitquest for delay and sweeping the synths with all that fuzz (maestro is brassmaster tribute, calamity is a muff, and the solarian is a dirty boost). Had a GREAT jam last night (so fun playing with people again).

The Iron Ether is a Dubterranea and a Xerograph deluxe in one box. They are wired together, but if you want, you can put stuff between them. It's one of the better synth pedals I've tried...mostly because you can use it as an octave or sweepable filter or envelope follower or the synth sounds. Really digging it.

The Vongon Ultrasheer is just magical too. Everything sounds good through it, even my playing :lol:

Really cool board cosmicevan.
Any recordings of this setup? That IE looks wild.
I'm not sure if the last jam was recorded...I didn't record it, but there were some SOLID moments. I can cut some clips though. The magic of that board is when it's all on.

CAN I HEAR THIS?????

How you manage the double dittos?
LI. Definitely down to jam pretty much anytime. Where you at? The double dittos works because they are both hooked up to a pedal order switcher/flip flop. This way you can record a loop in one, then record that loop with live accompaniment and then I can wipe out the first one and flip the order to layer more on top. Conversely, you can build something under the other loop and fade the first loop out. It really helps flow in and out of loops and allows for your timing to be less than perfect and create happy accidents instead of disarray (though disarray is easily accomplished when desired).

My pedalboard for playing my nylon string acoustic.

Gives me everything i need:
Fishman = Pre-amp, boost, tuner, compressor, eq / anti feedback
El Cap = very versatile delay, sound-on-sound, chorus, spring reverb
Neunaber slate = 4x reverbs inc wet, shimmer, scatter (reverb / delay combo), hold (pad like freeze)
Diito = looper
EQ = EQ

Small, portable.
No noise.
Built on pedaltrain metro 16

that's a cute little board! Fishman looks mega space age compared to the old fishman I had lol. Nice little portable rig. What sort of pickup do you have in the guitar?

Love the sharpie, shows stuff gets used :thumb:

Excellent! Really dig this set up.

I may have to look into that Line 6 mult effect thingy - the more and more I look at it the better it sounds.

The HX Stomp is amazing, and after each firmware update it's getting better and better!

The Apocalypse and Lil Pig are in the loop of the looper at the bottom right, which switches to the clean channel of my Rockerverb when I activate the loop. Lets me use amp gain for my main tone, and then when I want fuzz it'll automatically go to the clean channel instead of stacking on top of gain and getting messy.
Radial splits before delay/verb/freeze, which run into the Surveyor, then into a second clean amp (JC40 at the mo).
Getting a nice blend of clang, clarity and space from the Surveyor/JC40 side, and gainy thickness from the Rockerverb. The Mimiq also does a good job of making everything sound a bit wider.

latest revision. i hadn't had the big board out in ages and it needed some rejiggering. i sold the LAL 46 because it was too OTT for what i do, and took the Tone Bender MKII clone off because i needed the space and it's my least favorite of the remaining distortion/fuzz boxes on the board.
pedalboard 7-5-21 sized.jpg
signal path, rlght -> left, bottom -> top:

Boss BD-2 Blues Driver
1970s MXR Distortion+ (middle right)
Fuzzhugger 3-knob Great Wall w/Ben Nerison paint job
Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian (Russian Big Muff clone)
EMMA Discumbobulator envelope filter
Mojo Hand FX Villanova optical Uni-Vibe
Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge ring modulator
TC Electronics SCF flanger/chorus (used as flanger)(middle left)

<carriage return>

Boss CH-1 Super Chorus
Ibanez PM7 Phase Modulator (wacko phaser)
Boss RV-3 reverb/delay
Fender MTG Tube Tremolo
Earthquaker Devices Ghost Echo reverb (OG big box)

i wired it so the top tier and bottom tier are each on their own daisy chain, which helps a LOT with the noise problems inherent to a daisy chain. the top tier hasn't changed at all since my last post, nor has the Discumbobulator->SCF section of the bottom tier. i have only 4 distorto-fuzzes because that's all that would fit, and it's really all i need. the signal deterioration board is finished; i'll post it later.

i like OG boxes more than modern digital wonder boxes; they do one or two specific things and i don't get lost menu-diving. save that shit for drum machines.
