DannDubbleEwe, don't think I got this one from you, I got it locally. Maybe another ILFer?DannDubbleEwe wrote:Sick page. ^ glad you got that Tetanus and it’s on-board. The illest of the ill. So far I'm loving it! checks a lot of boxes for me right now. The set it and forget it EQ trim pots on the backside are great so I can focus more on playing than tweaking. Easy feedback by boosting those midddds. And tonally it really scratches that itch to sound like Killing Joke's "Total Invasion." Slamming the Tri-fuzz/BF-2/PM7 in different combination yields some reallllly fun feedback.goroth wrote:How you liking the devils tail? Been wanting one for ages!
This board fucks so damn hardGhost Hip wrote:Been scarce on here because I've been tight on money and don't need the temptations lol, but recently invested biden bucks on some low profile patch cables and LAL deviltail distortion for my main guitar board. I haven't crammed this hard before. Now I have an empty spot if I scoot the deviltail down and I'm scrolling through this thread for inspo. Thinking about hunting down a Pladask Elektrisk Romferd or Draume? Or should I just skip the trial and error and put another god awful sounding fuzz on there?

And I got it for less than most of the JHS hyped dod death metals on ebay.

I have not checked out Romferd demos yet but you might be right lol, I just read the description and thought it sounded interesting. I have been playing very percussively in one of my projects so a ring mod is a great idea. And yes, the Bi-fet is so simple and great! Anytime I switch guitars and notice a significant gain/treble difference it always helps to even things out.Dowi wrote: You already have a Shallow Water so I think there would probably be some overlap with a Pladask Romferd?![]()
I think the only thing missing here is a ring modulator.![]()
Also thanks to one of your videos I grabbed a cheap Bifet a while ago and that's super helpful placed first in chain, so thank you.
I need to get it oscillating, I may have had the buffer on the dod bifet on while setting the EQ and not been able to hear it when cranking the eq.Blackened Soul wrote: I found it to be a “better” sounding with oscillation take on the dod deathmetal... and yet I sold mine and still have my old deathmetal....
