So clearly, I have too much time on my hands, because this changes every day. But I figure this current version deserves a post so, here.
The Eville Rat + Part Garden combo (dubbed "Moth Garden" by Alec) is exactly as bonkers as you think it is. Pretty much endless amounts of broken, disgusting but also beautiful fuzz sounds at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately, the combo sleeps for now. But the Part Garden stays on because I need my sounds to break still. When I get a bigger board the whole combo will live again, it will probably live again in the studio later. Cause fuck. Buy MAE stuff. Just do it.
A few other things have changed as well, biggest being that theres a Cioks Adam attached to the board to power more things without splitters. Because thats always the right move. More things.
Imma go hit the zaza and play some dam riffs.

Yup! Use it whenever I solo. Long time ago I decided the "cuff" guitar solo sound that Billy Corgan got on Zeitgeist is something I wanted to ape. I was achieving that sound with a Boss GE-7 until I broke it. The Q Zone takes a little more dialing in than the GE-7, but it gets the job done. Shit cuts in all situations.

Built this temporary board because I haven't been in our rehearsal space in months and I am tired of constantly taking the other board back and forth between my house and the office.
Lately i've been writing and recording a lot of rough ideas for the band, so i've cut the pedals down to the ones that sound good enough for that.
Probably the simplest and smallest board I ever built in the last 3 or 4 years, but it's perfect for its purpose and helps me focus on writing instead of finding new combinations etc
All daisy chained and powered by the good ol' 1spot, very quiet nonetheless.
Now that I think about it, I might even use it for live shows, dropping the Atmos and the f.13 and putting in front the CT5 and a small polyphonic octaver (after years of research I still haven't found one that can substitute the old POG, but that's another story).

Great board! That Micro-tron looks fun, and I've settled on the Soma as my favorite preamp.

Yeah, curious to know how are you liking it with bass? I feel the urge to try it with a bass rig since it got here.

I'm assuming BILF starts exactly when you've completed that board, right?
