Finally got some play time in - I don't know if its just where I am right now but I am super happy with the MBD2 and Studio Bass - Matter of fact the MBD2 is so fucking good that it would be the desert island pedal of my choice.
Delay, Looper, are for sure going on the board - then I am not sure what other effect I want quite yet. I will probably thrown and envalope filer for the funk slapping and maybe fuck around with a Ring Mod of some sorts. The best part of being a solo bedroom player is that you can fuck with as many sounds as you want and get all wanky
Also sexy fender is sexy

I just realized the bass is the back AND your running a OG ID drive and a LAL 87 on bass for some of that nasty fuzz.
I would fuck with this board hard
I love your style sir

I don't think I've run into a bass player who has tried the MBD-2 / 1 and not been blown away. It's range and versatility is pretty incredible and it does wall of mash your face like very few others.

I was just reading about dialing gain knob all the way off and using it as a pre amp. Tried it last night and was amazed at the results such a good pedal

Loving this setup, although I've thought about "upgrading" the chorus and Teaser Stallion. Not sure to what, but maybe a Waza Metal Zone and CE-2.

chain:
[EB volume pedal out of shot]
Mellowtone Hi 5
1978 MXR Distortion+
CMC Effects MK II Tone Bender
FuzzHugger 3-knob Great Wall
EMMA Discumbobulator envelope filter
Mojo Hand FX Villanova univibe
TC Electronics SCF chorus/flanger (used as flanger)
<carriage return>
Boss CH-1 chorus
Boss RV-3 reverb/delay
Menatone Pleasure Trem 5000 tremolo
TC Electronics Flashback delay
EQD Ghost Echo reverb
EXH Black Finger tube compressor
this board is deliberately somewhat conventional. i have the ability to patch stuff in at the carriage return points i.e. between the flanger and chorus so i didn't try to cram on stuff like the Randy's Revenge which i love but use maybe 1.5% of the time.

and yes, it *does* fit in the hard Pedaltrain case. much quieter than the old board because i used two OneSpots, one for each tier.
