After being laid off permanently a few weeks ago I have had time to re-setup my board to accommodate both the musicmaster and the contact mic'd banjo. Still working on a signal flow that makes more sense. Need a better preamp option, running the contact mic on the banjo from a preamp out on an old Mackie mixer from the 90's into the line in on the Eventide.

Time Factor > Sunn ( Acapulco Gold clone from ILFSS18 ) Bit Commander > Pelituar ( ILFSS 17 ) > Raptio > CT5 > TKOG Feral Glitch > RV2> Boss GL1 using the lexicon pedal for channel switching into either a Fender Bassman 20 or a Silvertone 1484.

Aquietcabin1978 - i feel like i heard some of your stuff with banjo and electronics before and really liked it - do you have a place where you post your music?

I've only had the contact mic on the banjo a few weeks. Still working out what works well. It can go from really cool to really bad pretty quick depending. I usually sync the time factor to my MPC classic for drums and synth stuff but haven't really recorded anything of substance.

I was hearing a tiny bit of noise this morning, plus a couple of pedals were behaving a little oddly (louder than they should be when switched on) so something dramatic has happened :)

I've taken away the two lower tiers, removed sixteen pedals, and moved a few things about for some variety.

Picture to follow tomorrow, but it already sounds quieter and things are behaving themselves again.

:yay:
