..... i learned how to write some low level virus stuff when i was younger and way nerdier about computers. i decided...... pretty quickly..... that was some knowledge i REALLY didn't want to posses.

Related to this: I have always wanted to learn hacking. Not to hack anything. I'm just obsessed with learning things. I started taking Chinese lessons yesterday on a whim.

i've always been goofy for learning new stuff. i realized some time back that i like learning how to do new things much more than i like actually knowing how to do the things once i've learned them...it's the acquisition of the knowledge that turns me on.

i think i'm going to apply for a technical writer job in the Wisconsin Dells. it'd be really humorous if they hired me. that'd certainly settle the whole "what am i going to do next?" question.

they've only had 2 people apply for it according to SimplyHired, too. i figure it's close enough to Chicago that i can live with it.

I did the same thing as a kid. In that same research, I also accidentally let a worm loose in a school library computer system once. The next year, we had individual student logins.

I just realized that the most immediate reason for me caring about whether or not a pedal is true bypass is because I want it to be great in a feedback looper.

my favorite thing nowadays about going to the MMJ dispensary here in town is that one of the folks that runs the place has an adorable puppy of some tiny curly-haired terrier-esque breed who is just the CUTEST THING IN THE ENTIRE COUNTY. every time i see that puppy it brightens up my day for hours. i love dogs, but i don't have the kind of life when i'm working that lends itself to giving a dog the kind of attention it deserves, so i love visiting with other folks' dogs.

i think i just really miss my cat and im living through other peoples pets after some jerk hit him one day and as much as i want to adopt again i doubt i could have my heart broken twice if someone ran that one over too
