Looks like they finally started shipping in December and the pre-order is still open to get on the list. Ttough there are 2 used ones on Reverb right now. Would love to hear one in person.

I know they are retarded heavy and loud.. but I'm having serious GAS for a twin reverb. I've played a bunch of them, but never owned one. Guitar center has piles of them used across the state's and they will ship from one location to another... maybe I'll save my pennies

they're great amps, but they will kill ya if you have to carry them up/down stairs. happily, they come with casters.

Yeah I am hoping to get one that has broken trem or the reverb doesn't work, which I can fix myself.. for a song. Or at least a song and dance. I'd just park it in the basement where I can make the musics.

Hey guys, does anyone remember a video from a Namm (or similar event) where a cool guy showed off his pedals and he was really cool and he had a gnarly octavia-type pedal? They were quite utilitarian, like bare-metal finish on the enclosures. Can't find it in my history or searching my posts

did I mention the guy was cool and we liked him?

Joe Gore Screech I think? I’ve been wondering when they’re gonna come out too.

Does anyone else hate using resonance on their filters? It just occured to me that I really don’t use an resonance on anything because it never sounds good to me

But resonance is great! Sound aggressive, oscillate... what's not to love.

Yup. Same here. On synth at least. Honestly, i much prefer lpgs to more traditional filters.
I every once in a while add the slightest bit of research for some overtone laser Tom sounds and the like...but 90% of the time, nope.
I do like it on guitar more though. There are some good filter res sweeps with delay and stuff that I dig...don't know if I would every use it in a song but fun to mess around with.

I avoid it for bass synth sounds because it tends to roll off sub frequencies, but for everything else I think it's an indispensable tool for getting all kinds of colors.
