Fucking EU, they banned 60 Watt CFL bulbs today and I need some for my kitchen! They don't make Energy saving ones that fit... plus energy saving ones are more damaging to the enviroment anyway so I don't wanna use them.

I already have to order my leaded solder from abroad
Kinda have a feeling bulbs might get broken in international postage.
Next they'll take away my tubes!

It's not even our government though, they just get told by Europe and have to comply to stay in the union.
Of course being in the EU has its benefits, but they do make some dumb ass decisions.
No Lead solder in our Landfills! Great! Except now all the unleaded solder using products are breaking faster and filling the landfills up too quickly with even more harmful substances
I was fine with the banning of 100 Watt bulbs.. that makes sense, but standard 60s? And next year 40 & 25 Watt go too... if energy saving bulbs were so damn great they wouldn't have to tell people not to buy CFLs, but they're not, I mean I use them in some places, but other places they suck and they don't make an energy saving bulb with the fittings for my kitchen lights so i'll have to replace the whole damn light fitting which is going to be expensive.

Europe's trying to return to castle life by making all your light sources weak.

So went to the Orthopedist today. I have to have surgery tomorrow to get a plate put in. Turns out this is more than just a dislocated ankle...

You didn't notice that was broken?
The x-ray from when I broke my fibula looked about like that...and my foot twisted around backwards when I lifted my leg up.

So I'm staying with a family friend for the time being out in Colorado, and they are very gracious in taking me in. So I come back from classes today, and their 15 year old grand daughter is over, and she will not stop hitting on me and she is laying it on thick! She's attractive, but I feel really weird since she's 15... AND the people I'm staying with's granddaughter. So right now, I'm like fuuuuuuuuuuuck, my friend said I should just hit it then hope I find an apartment before she tells them.
Oh, and to top it off? She told them "she wants to spend the night", so she's hitting on me and staying the night in the same place I am...
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK
