Thank you, sir. I like that they even colored in the fret marker inlays.

My first good quality guitar was a BC Rich ST-III that had paint on the back of the neck. I hated the way it felt. (I also hated the Kahler whammy bar, but that's another story.)

I love Kahlers but they're an art to set up right.

And painted neck doesn't bother me if it feels right - never bothered me on my Gibsons or my ancient Hamer.

I lurk this thread for ideas to fill up my wish book. I would rock almost any of these, some gloriously ugly gear here. Except the airbrushed stuff, that makes me physically queasy.

That pointy red and black bass is an Ampeg Devil Bass, pretty sure. They've got a scroll headstock and they're kind of rare/expensive. Those Ampeg scroll basses are pretty weird in general. They're pretty much all custom made, no aftermarket parts except the pots and jacks I think.
