Thankfully, no one on here seems to be against trans people in any way. I've known a lot of people that will insist on calling the person by their birth gender, refer to trans people as freaks or he/shes, etc.

I agree completely. I wasn't talking about this specifically in my, just talking about how this place seems to be in general. The person that originally brought up the lack of transphobic bullshit originally was talking about Devi and everyone's reaction to her, but I still figured that was worth saying to the person that asked why people would hate on trans people.

I don't think the two sided sector writing was a good idea and while I understand the back-compatible motivation behind EMS/XMS memory addressing I think it caused more problems than it solved.

Also, to whomever asked, yes, Billy Corgan truly was the villain in his spat with Devi. He said some vile things about her gender identity. And he has a long-standing trainwreck of a record with transphobia in general. He is a transmisogynistic dick. I can't find the quote right now, but he once accused a transwoman of seducing him against his will and that if he ever saw "him/her" again, he'd literally break all of "his/her" limbs.

What's funny is how similar BC and DE really are. Both made significant contributions to their fields. In Devi's case, she really upped the game for boutique fuzz. In BC's case, he made some of the best albums of '90s alternative rock, and influenced everybody and their dog. Then both of them went crazy and became completely irrelevant. I guess you eventually become what you love/hate/hate/love the most...
