So I had an adventure today that involved going to four different music stores in search of preamp tubes, driving aimlessly around Milwaukee for about an hour, and finding Lay's salt & vinegar chips at a gas station. I'm talking about the original, deep fried chips, not the shitty baked ones that have the texture of a roof shingle. Oh, and at the last music store I went to, a small one that I had little expectations for, the dude special ordered a JJ 12ax7 for me and it should come in by next Monday. It's the closest one to my house and I should have just gone there from the start, but then I wouldn't have had this silly, pointless escapade to take up my entire afternoon.

I got me a job interview today! That can be both I scheduled the interview today and it is occurring today. Gas station job, and it's in an area where it for sure won't get robbed!!!

I kick ass at interviews. I'll clean myself up, smile all nice like and be that polite young man that girls' parents love. I don't look great on paper, but once I've got an interview, I can do my magic.

Woop woop! Pending corporate approval, I've got a full time job working third shift at a gas station. The manager didn't seem to believe me that I'd prefer working all night to early morning(3rd shift was the only thing available).

Not to get ahead of myself, but I think this long excruciating period of nothingness has ended.

On a totally different note, I just dug up all of my Captain Underpants books from grade school. They are ridiculous!
