Ah yes, the year of my birth.

*unrelated: I always say that to cashiers when the total they give me resembles a year. 'That'll be $14.78.' All it really does is embarrass Invisible Woman, which is its own reward.

Dad Joke is a philosophy, not a practice.

If you tell a dad joke in the forest and nobody is around to hear it, is it still unfunny?

Hey now my understanding is not that dad jokes are unfunny. They are rounded off, edgeless and obvious, but.

Out of interest does anyone have a modular setup purely for processing sound rather than synthesis? I use a lot of delay/granular/loop effects in creating my music and am very interested by modules like Phonogene and Clouds and things that can be done to them with CV trickery.

My planned rack is essentially just for processing external sounds and musique concrete type stuff. I'll be using it in conjunction with a Field Kit and Field Kit FX as well:

A section of my rack is dedicated just for this: Audio I/O -> Morphagene -> DLD -> Clouds -> Quad VCA -> output. I tend to add filters as necessary, of course, and also modulate with LFO's and Triggers from Pamela's New Workout, Batumi, etc...

Check out the Eowave Quadrantid Swarm I posted about a couple pages back. I am gassing hard for that thing! Not available for awhile though as it's going through Kickstarter.

I'm actually borrowing a JX-03 from a fellow fuzzbreaux tomorrow

I'm building mine a lot around the phonogene, it's very fun and there's a lot you can do with it
