^ I know nothing about MIDI and syncing stuff, but I do know that if you have space for something like the Mordax Data, it would be incredibly useful! I really regret having to sell my o'Tool, and it's just an oscilloscope (/tuner/frequency analyser/voltage meter///) with no CV capabilities. It is way more useful to see your waveforms than you'd think. I always find it amazing when I can't get something to work how I like, I can plug it into the o'Tool and immediately see what I am doing wrong.

A much cheaper and less HP-intensive alternative to oscilloscopes/O'Tool/Mordax Data is that :
Red/blue with colour/luminosity depending on voltage polarity/intensity...

If you just need to sync your devices to one clock, then I'm pretty sure you just need a MIDI thru box, like this one. Erica Synths do one with 8 outputs, I'm sure there are others.

durp. didna explains that right. that quick vidja is playing stuff through MY Mordax Data. love looking at the pretty waveforms, and yesh. EXCITED about What The Furk Is HAPPENING possibilities.
hurrrrm. so would thr Motu MIDI Timepiece be overkill? is there a latency issue with through boxes? want that shizz TIGHT son!

lol. i don't even know the correct name to look for. is MIDI Multiplier right?
Midi thru box. Get a powered one for peace of mind, the Midi solutions ones are fine but so much gear doesn't have all 5 pins of the midi port connected, and their boxes need to get power off some of those pins that are often disconnected. Infuriating.
I have a Casio TB-1 I picked up for £20, can send either of 2 midi ins to 8 outs. There's a whole host of old and new Midisport products with a variety of ins/outs for this too. The Kenton is cool too.

Wogglebug came in. Man...what a mesmerizing module...so many ways for it to interact with your system. I've enjoyed nearly every module I've tried so far (even though I hardly understand all they can do yet) but this one is definitely special.

Behndy, right now you are trying to sync just these items; modular, Digitakt, DAW?
Why not use your DAW as master? Many DAWs don’t like to be slaved, some don’t allow it at all, others can behave erratically.
If DAW-master is out of the question have you tried using Digitakt as the master instead of Pam’s?
The Shuttle Control has some great sync options and I slave my Pam’s to it all the time. Sync between Shuttle control and Pam’s seems very tight with Pam as slave. So with the Shuttle Control in the middle I can have my DAW or another midi device as master.

right now just those, but i have 2 other synths at least i'd like to add to the setup soons as i have room.
hurrrrrm. i could try that, but i'd really like to go with the Pam's as the master if possible. i like using her as the stop/start of the whole system a lot.
but good to knowwww. thanks!
