Probably the best tone any band I have ever been a part of has gotten. Matt ( the guitarist) is definitely sold on Black Arts stuff. I recorded one song with my video camera, I'll try to get it uploaded.

NICE. HM2 on bass = total devastation.

Also, traded my IRON PIG to D-Day. Badascan incoming!

HM-2 is definitely killer on bass. the one Nick is making will be much better than the original for that purpose, even, and for any purpose really.

you just have to play really loud for it to sound good... it hates quiet amps.

mine should be louder since i removed the divider on the output which cut the signal by 1/2 haha so yea vroom. Plus the 4 band EQ should be win. Make it louder by making the hard clipper into LED. You could do Ge in the Soft clipper for intense compression then no clippers on the 2nd one for serious output. There like a bunch of configurations u can use in the unit. Soft clippers Si (stock), none, Ge and hard clippers Si (stock), none, and LED

let me tell you a story, my friend. a story that went on a couple of days ago.

i brought an Acoustic Control 230, rated at 160w (SS) at 4 ohms. I brought a Laney 4x12 rated at 4 ohms with 4 Celestion GS-12's, 200w total are rated at 96db. fairly innefficient. i had the Acoustic at about 2 o'clock in volume. this is about 15-25% of the volume i usually play at. i was asked to turn down.

this is what happens in the world outside the doom room. therein lies a sad, miserable wasteland. some people just want to watch the world burn... you know?
