Gotta build some smaller boards.Thinking maybe one of those old-school plywood boards cause i dont do tiers anymore and dont feel the need to have isolated power really

Now including 4 self-built pedals and 2 kits

Yes, kinda I need to move the bass board around more. Also I just wanted two different setups because I have always just smacked on as much as I could possibly fit on a board and used it for whatever. It is kinda chill to think "this is what guitar sounds like"; "this is what bass sounds like" cause I am turning way less knobs.

This is sick. It reminds me of the pics of Lou Reed's rig from the Lulu sessions. Also DM4  I want one of those only because it is the antithesis of snobby distortion. That and the Boss OD-20, tough it seems the boss has gained some acceptance

I’ve been going through and organizing my picture file and I pulled out all the pedalboards going back to 2013. Kinda cool to see the progression. I’ve gone down many tone chasing rabbit holes. Big boards, small boards, finally settled on medium sized Goldilocks. Just right...for now. Sorry for the pic dump but I don’t think I’ve posted many of these.

That is really cool to see your evolution and how some effects change forms or reappear. I wanted to start a pedalboard evolution thread but my earliest boards were not well documented in photos, pre-digital era.

Really cool idea, and nice evolution you had. I agree with codetocontra, to see what came and went during the years is interesting, somehow also from a pedal trends point of view.

I think I got documented the last decade, unfortunately the glorious first pedalboards are just stuck in my mind... Ooooh those Arion and Behringer pedals.. Ooh those wonderful hums..

Yeah, just essential but not too much.
Makes me think about downsizing again.

I support this message.
I'm currently running 8 pedals, including Volume-pedal, tuner and an always-on EP-booster. The rest is dirt, verb, trem, delay and a Pladask Fabrikat for glitch/pitch delay/time stretch/freeze etc.
All you need.

I'm looking at my board and right now I think I could get rid of at least 3 without much suffer. But should I? :idk:
