Not the most high-end, but I've had a set of these for about 7 years and love them, so when a LNIB pair popped up locally for less than half the price of what I originally paid for a single speaker I couldn't say no:
Going to make a great addition to my synth desk.

Congratulations!

That's one of the very few Yamaha products that I would rock.

I had a great time demoing one of those in a shop. They just sound great. If I spot one for cheap secondhand I'm gonna be on it.

Almost forgot my own little contribution to the thread
The first day of the year's been good to me. After an aggravating long search I finally managed to score a Boss PS-3 for a price that's for once NOT astronomically high.
Seems like this peddle earned itself some sort of cult status. That's all great and all, but they're usually priced accordingly, and that was starting to piss me off

Got an Eventide H9 Max coming my way from Austin. Hoping that I can get it before practice this week.

The yamaha has more of a true piano sound and the pickups are more natural sounding. Basically the 70s solution to a touring baby grand. With something like the rhodes it gains it's sound from attempting to sound like a piano but instead becoming it's own unique thing. Same goes for the wurlitzer.

haha thanks.

A lot of those are preorders or older purchases. I'm outside the US, so a lot of mail ends up piling up for weeks before it gets delivered to me. It's always weird when everything hits at once.

My local Post Office hates me.

I'm trying to get the Source Audio Soundblox Pro Distortion and Filter for cheap. People seem spotty with them so they can be had for WAY under retail value (according to Reverb graphs). Chicago Music Exchange is selling both for $170 as opposed to $230. I think I can find them cheaper and am beyond covered in filters AND distortion so no rush. Anyone have experience?
Other than that, on the hunt for LYRA 8 and 4 this year. I regret not pre-ordering but hoping to snag when people realize it does not do filter sweeps or "make da beats". Ugly should get one.
