Not at all...it’s a beast of a pedal...why?

I have a particle series olympia version .. love the sound, just needs to be behind everything for it to shine, very low output

True!

Always liked 2 boards vs one giant if the logistics allowed it.
I might end up going this route just so I can add utility pedals I wanted. I seem to have slimmed myself down so much so that I can't use those even! LOL!! For instance, the compressor is always on, but I cannot mount it underneath due to the design of the the Pedaltrain. So, it's taking up real estate that I need for something else but I don't want to lose it.

I just got my Klein Bottle in. I want that to be a focal point of my board and I kind of screwed the pooch on that. It's a 1790ns size, so pretty big. Can't fit it anywhere. I'm thinking maybe I need to take this back and go to a PT 2 so I can fit those little bits and pieces I'm not going to be able to do otherwise.

Thoughts?

The other thought is, I'm using this for recording. So, does it really matter? Am I just overthinking things.

I just want it to be easy to transport from my house to my bros.

Going up to a PT2 isn't going to be any different to transport occasionally than the Jr, and if you have a couple utility pedals like the klein bottle and the comp it'll still be a really bare bones setup. I'm thinking about making the same move, Jr to PT2, because I'm always short of space by about 3 pedals worth.

I either want to go extremely simple, like just dirt and reverb/delay, or about 10-12 pedals.
The middle ground always leaves me wanting and swapping stuff out, which isn't terrible. I just don't like wasting precious music time swapping around pedals every couple times I play. When I have plenty of time, the swapping is a treat. When I'm limited on time it is a bummer when I just want to mess with some combo I dreamed up earlier in the day.

That's weird, mine (another big box) hits unity around 9-10 o'clock and past that it's just amp-bashingly loud

my black acid will kill my amp, but not the LR..doesnt like daisy chaining either...its so lo-fi makes me want to purchase a instant lo-fi junkie to pair with it...defiantly a 'vintage' sound

that's weird man...i find the Lucifer does more than my black acid in my set up. But yeah neither EFE pedals like daisy chaining power...for the Lucifer i actually have one of those battery adapter cables going into the pedal...maybe try that and see if it makes a difference??

It kind of sounds like your LR needs 10 mins in the fridge to get the temperature down. I've mentioned this before but mine doesn't sound nearly as good on hot days- no sustain, less volume, like the bias is way wrong

Since simplifying my board to around 8 pedals, I've found myself happier with playing. I've traded a few things out here and there to see what I'm going to use the most and trying to hone it in. I really like where it's at right now though. It's a good exercise of control for me.

The Fabrikat is on board!
The plan was to move the FORM to the second board, but I like it this board as well. Use it for ring mod/trem, vibrato and pre-dirt reverb. :)
