I wanted something with sliders and mean for myself...
...and there was a with warranty b-stock available from Zzounds.
So sometime late next week or the Monday after Christmas...
...but until then I can play with the plugin version that's still amusing.

Fuck yeah! I'm way curious about your thoughts on that synth. Seems like winner as far as function and control-interface go?

The most amusing part was being able to play with some of it now, I grabbed the control software that also is a VST and stuck it in the DAW.
Ok, I have to restart it every 10-15 minutes...but...it at least lets me play with the engine a bit.
Mostly I wanted it for the tactile silliness and sliders, but it was also for the "run the guitar synth into this for the lols"

Thanks again for the heads up! I don't check Norwegian eBay-like pages enough, it seems...

vidret: it really shouldn't. He said the volume pot was a little crackly, but I don't ever touch that after I start playing. I control that shit with my Hypnodrone mixer
The model has been used by the likes of Marc Bolan, Pink Floyd, Sweet, The Clash, Dr. Feelgood, and I think I even read early Rush at some point.
I think he's selling it cheap because he lives in the middle of the woods and just can't be bothered.

Your amp collection is becoming serious AF. This vintage gem on top of the JC-160 and the Trace Elliott stack is gonna bitch.

Yeah, I'm very muched hyped on my amp setup at the moment. The Boss Katana is treating me well at home too.

So I didn't feel like being a synth virgin anymore and bought a Minibrute. It's so much goddamn fun. I WANT ALL OF THE SYNTHS.
Fun fact: I initially thought the Minibrute was broken and was wondering where all of the scary white noise was coming from.
So guys, guess what?
The Minibrute has this white noise generator thing and I'm dumb.
