I was looking at building a fearful cab this summer some time but never got the time or funds. From what I heard they deliver exactly what your bass and you sound like, so there is no extra character in the cab itself. May be good or bad depending on what your trying to accomplish. Some of the builds on TB look so damn snazzy though.

i like the idea of fEarful's a LOT. i played through a LDS i think? at a TB GTG. pretty fucking fierce.

Well, I think LDS will make one for you if you want. Or they pop up in the classifieds every now and then. You could try it and see if you like it, then build one for the esepriance.

y'know what though? the guy Greenboy? very cool he worked out the design and released them for free. but only time i've conversed with the man he was a condescending prick. pretty much called me a moron. in a thread i started asking how best to stablize a micro head on an amp that was on a stand. verrrrrry douchey. seemed to have the Everybody Sucks My Interballz Constantly My Head Is Up My ASS.

....... maybe he was having a bad day? dunno.

He seems to get into a lot of pissing matches with other cab builders in a lot of threads; but to be fair (or something), a LOT of cab builders seem to get into pissing matches with each other about pretty much every aspect of cab design/construction/materials/bracing/crossovers/kittens/nuclear disarmament/lunch/whatever someone else says about life, the universe, and everything.

i just bought my cab, may not sound AS good but sounds ossum goes stupid loud on not many watts and i saved time and effort by NOT BUILDING THE FUCKING THING, seriously how can you have a brand of cabs you have to build yourself? what makes them so good? mine would be SHIT
