For what it's worth, I've only had a handful of pedals not work well with active bass and usually I think it has to do with the blend circuits used. Recently the ones I've had trouble with is the Chase Bliss Brothers, HEQ1, Fuzzhugger (anything honestly), and pretty much any super fuzz. If they have good blend, I never, ever have issues. I have had a metric fuck ton of fuzzes and have only played active bass for 23 years. I mean, I've owned more fuzzes than most people here care to know about.

It doesn't have anything to do with Abracadabra (or Chase Bliss), but a good detective would be able to figure it out based on the clues
