I am making Borscht for the first time ever today. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is good bc I spent a mint on meat to make the broth. lol.

You should be fine, as long as you are using good beets... And lots of dill.... I eat the stuff almost every other week.. But... Made vegetarian :idk:

:idk: yeah-ish.. I feel that way about fake meat.. Although veggie corn dogs are a [very]guilty pleasure.. so bad for you but...

And more often than not they suck dick for baking. Every time Mrs. Diver tries baking a vegan recipe it tastes wrong and feels weird in the mouth.

Vegan food is best when it happens to be vegan, not when it is a vego or meat dish that has had stuff replaced out of it. There are so many fantastic vegan dishes, I dunno why folks bother with substitute products (I mean, if you are putting in the effort to go vegan anyway put in a bit more effort and cook good food).
