A man has got to get his tweak on, so tweak with them. Greet them with "hail Satan!", tell them how cool the new [obvious to non-metalheads that it's Satanic metal] album is. Or learn some Islamic greetings. Or ask them if they've discovered the vague, casual uncertainty of Unitarianism.

Once you take this course and get a lifetime ban, you'll be on your course to home-roasting your own beans.

I'm bumping this here thread b/c I just realized I prefer the cheapest Lavazza coffee b/c it's mostly robusto beans.

And sweetened condensed milk is the best coffee sweetener.

So, basically, you like unfrozen coffee ice cream.

I mean, I sure can't blame anyone who does.
That sounds incredible.

Howeevvverrrr, when I'm drinking coffee, I much prefer it to just be plain ol' coffee.

What is everyone's favorite continent to get coffee from?
I definitely am an African coffee man.
I think Ethiopian coffee is easily at the top of my list, although I've had quite a few Kenyan coffees I've also enjoyed.

grinder, an aero press, and a lb bag of Colectivo's co-optiva (balanced) or blue heeler (darker and smokey) does the trick for me. The beans aren't cheap, but the roasting factory/cafe is about 5 blocks away from my house.

I think African coffee beans are probably the best too, but I am up for whatever (nice) blends are available. Ethiopian beans tend to be the (most) expensive, at least here

I would add Yemen to that list. Although, it's been much more difficult to find these days.

That sounds horrible, and no. I used to put salt in my coffee to bump up the bitterness.

I'm sure the coffee I buy is from Africa, but I once bought beans from Sumatra or Vietnam and they kicked ass, like there was hot peppers in the beans.

They told me to stop drinking coffee.

I don't drink that much coffee. :idk:

As an anxiety sufferer (well, panic disorder, woo), I actually took up drinking coffee. Granted, I limit myself to one a day or two if I know it's going to be a loooooooong day. It makes me feel really happy more than alert or anxious. You don't need to stop if you're not consuming copious amounts. Counseling is fully recommended though, that'll do more than any cut of coffee. :thumb:

Meanwhile, broke bastard today. I want my coffee. It's getting bad that the coffee shop here knows my order straight away even when they have different staff each day.

I used to drink coffee all the time before my surgery earlier this year. Now I can have decaf a few days a week.

It is!
It's "traditional" or whatever in a bunch of places.
Fucking love sweetened condensed milk.
Fuck it, I'm making key lime pie this weekend.
Where's that runner chick?

I'm not even drunk.

I hate that I have to travel two towns to get cold brew... so I just started brewing my own at home. 24 hr room temp with a moderately dark roast. This is also how we do cold brew at the cafe I work at. I'm sure it's been discussed here before but does anyone else do their own cold brew at home?

I have much interest in this. Kinda want to start doing some cold brew at home. Share your thoughts, one and all, before I consult the almighty google.
