I'm used to paying 150% of the worth of anything I buy because of this. AND the Finnish Customs post office doesn't leave the packages marked as gift be if You haven't got an email from the sender stating 'You're about to receive a gift btw how do You do?'
AND they can have You open the boxes just to see the content is as stated.

now THAT sucks... but surely You can borrow that kind of small change from somebody it's not like You're asking for their liver.
