It’s snowing around here and I shut myself inside all day yesterday. Today still snowing but I gotta take my bicycle to the repair shop, not happy about it.

Didn't initially plan on these, but reading and watching convinced me. I was a bit underwhelmed by the uVCF so swapping it for the Cinnamon which seems much more versatile.

Explored the alt modes in Clouds today...been self patching the STO ...this clean-slate-exploration has been a joy. Just seeing what things can do and are capable of...already many nice surprises.

Purchased Syntorial (yay educational discount) this weekend too and have begun those lessons. I did the free thing and found it to be useful so definitely think it was worth the purchase.

A guy on Muffs posted his thesis on generative music via modular synthesis and I'm about halfway through that...

I'm a nerd. Love the learning materials as much as actually playing haha.

right? there is some NEAT stuff out there to read.

also, this is hopefully the last rebuild until i have room to stay the one larger case, should be here end of the month-ish.



also also, have you been watching the Kammerl Clouds firmware thread on Muffs? one dooder looks like he's packed most of the awesome parts of Parasites and Kammerl into one firmware. waiting on the stable release, then totes trying that out.

Dos'y DOS - it's this PIMP little box that Danno made for me. 8 1/8 inch jacks on the front, 1/4 inch jacks on the back. lets me run a snake to the mixer ins and keep it relatively clean for i/o.

sorta related, the Ladik line levels got here, haven't even tried them. everything works a TODDLE going straight into the AR16. i mean, they lost the first one, the second a section of the outs stopped working, but THIS one seems solid so far? LOVE having 16 inputs. TASTY.

Incu-Bussey - it's REALLY good. so awesome that you can lock the pitch knobs. that's..... how i want to use some oscs. just solid, i know if i send a C it's going to be a C. and the algos sound goooooood. exploring today.

^So I want to be as minimal as possible with menu diving. I don't mind a couple ...so it's gotta be worth it.

O+C does seem worth it...I'll let you know when I get some time, it's still in the mail from abroad.

hurm. yah. lol. i don't.... remember posting him? I BELIEVE YOU. but i went with the Instruo guy because the jack layout made more sense to me.

it was like $50 more after money exchanges though.
